Karina Dresses “Tracy” brings the Flowers for Spring
Blog Note: Whoot! I was provided a classic Karina Dresses Tracey for this “Midi Length” review!
The Chief Blonde is wearing Karina Dresses Tracy in Aqua Poppy Print ($158), Silver and Turquoise Necklace (similar), Loft Cardigan (similar), Michael Kors Bag($298), Seychelles Shoes (similar).
The Midi, my love/hate relationship
I have a love hate relationship with midi length dresses. I love how they cover my legs, give me that 40s (as in 1940s) look, and make me feel secure that my butt will always be covered. The bad part about a midi length dress, for me, is that I often feel swallowed up by it. Also, this length was popular in the mid-80s, so I am hesitant to bring that era back.
The Chief Blonde rocks the midi length dress circa 1987
Karina Dresses Tracy, a midi length dress
This Tracy dress from Karina dresses is really the best of both worlds in the land of midi length dresses. It is a midi length but because it’s a t-shirt/sheath cut it looks great without the engulfing nature of most midis.
Like all Karina dresses, the Tracy is made right in the USA in Brooklyn, NY! All Karina Dresses are machine washable and wrinkle-free (perfect for spring breaks or summer vacations). I would advise this dress for anyone with an hour glass figure like me! It was not as fitted around the breast area as many of the Karina styles are. You can find this dress right now in this print or in some fun paisleys. But hurry, the fabrics are limited and when they are gone they are gone.
Will YOU be wearing the new Midi length dresses this time around?

I like for my dresses to hit just below the knee. Maybe it isn’t in fashion, but I like the coverage. As you were saying, I feel secure in it. Even better is that this dress is made in USA. Love that!
I still love this dress. It’s such a pretty pattern and it really looks nice on you!
That is a flattering shape, and it would work for many occasions. I love the colors as well.
The aqua in the dress is so gorgeous! Great color!
I love the length and cut of this dress. It’s a good fit for daytime or an evening out, isn’t it?
It is very vesatile Jeanine. I feel like it would be cute with a blue jean jacket too! Shelley

I am commenting again because I have gone through all of the bloggers participating in this Karina event. You looked great in the eighties and you still do!
ahhhhh. You are a sweetie Alison. Hard to compete with my 23 year old self. The Chief BLonde
I think one of the things I like about this dress is that you don’t have to wear something under it to rescue a plunging neckline.
That’s true Jeanine and I hate ruining the lines of the design but I hate the girls hanging out too! Shelley
The length is great and I love the little cap sleeves.
loving the colour
Commenting again because I misunderstood the giveaway instructions the first time and posted comments on all the blogs the first day. Now I know I’m supposed to do one a day. 🙂
