Robin Roberts (51) , anchor of Good Morning America will be getting a bone marrow transplant this week from her sister Sally-Ann Roberts. Robin has been working tirelessly to organize transplant matching and is credited with increasing the the monthly number signed up at Be the Match by 50%. That’s great that you are showing that life doesn’t end just because you are 40, women can still do lots of things!
Thanks for sharing and hopefully opening some eyes to the fact that women are not done when they hit 40. In fact, we only get better as we age.
I really enjoyed reading the list of those 45 and over and seeing what an impact they have on our society. It is an important age group that is often over looked or discounted.
I will be be thinking about Robin! How scary!
I quite enjoyed the Google/DFV collaboration. What a neat view looking through her eyes that day! I didn’t know about the Olympians either… what an amazing accomplishment when so many of the athletes are so young!!
