The Chief Blonde Remarks: Recently, I was introduced to a delightful new online clothing experience…WinterSilks. It’s unimaginable to me, that clothing so soft and light can be stylish and warm, yet it is. Ahh…such a rich feel, I felt like a princess in every article of WinterSilks I tried. Many of you know that COZY is not a description that I really care about…I like my clothes to be eye-catching, fitted, and up-to-date, not trendy per-se, more timeless, but I don’t do comfy just for the shake of comfy. I expect my clothing to reflect my rather exuberant personality, Wintersilks does just that, yet never loses sight of the fact that clothing should be stylish and move easily.
WinterSilks is part of the Orchard Brands family of brands, dedicated to serving active lifestyles of the 50+ market. Even so, as you will note, the clothing has a wonderful cross generational appeal. I know my daughter could choose many items from their collection and love them as much as I!
Silk for every part of your body
While shopping WinterSilks, I was crazy for all the different silk items they carry. Without a doubt, the gray silk blend leggings were my favorite. Talk about comfy…wait…did I just say comfy? Well, they are, but super stylish as well. Unlike some leggings, which are so bulky, these leggings looked wonderful with boots and tunic. Exactly what everyone is wearing for fall. I wasn’t prepared for such a wide-ranging selection. I like their basics: Mid-weight Spunsilk Crewneck, the lightweight printed long johns, the Brushed Jacket, and Cable Knit Silk Cotton Shrug.
Men’s Long Sleeve Herringbone Shirt, looks good
I am in love with the Silk Habutai Broomstick Skirt, it’s just gorgeous! I think I’d want to pair it with Silk Linen Tunic with Cutout Embroidery. That would be perfect for so many occasions!

I like the sleeveless ruffle gown! Old fashioned romance, it screams!
The Silk Charmeuse Palazzo Pant is my pick for looking comfy yet elegant!
I like the Charmeuse Short Sleeve V-Neck Nightgown because I can never have too many nightgowns and I don’t like straps on my nightgowns
Mid-Rise Brief with Lace Waist because it is sooo pretty!

I love the Silk Cotton Heathered Nightgown. I am a huge fan of long nightgowns.
i absolutely love the Zip Front Bouclé Jacket because of its great color and the fact that it would be perfect for a cold day in Florida
I like the Split Neck Mock with Popcorn Trim, because it looks really warm and comfortable! (I also love that they’ve got such a big selection of long underwear! awesome for winter!)
I like the Mixed Texture Blouse. I like the color.

The ¾-Sleeve Square Neck Tee is awesome, I like 3/4 sleeves and the color is awesome. I wear tops like these all the time.
Floral Patchwork Skirt is my favorite! Can be dressed up or down. So pretty!
Love the Le Mystère Isabella Bra. I have a softspot for lacy black bras, what can I say? This one is simply gorgeous and the neckline is perfect for several tops and dresses I have.
