Why and How to Create a Niche Website in Less Than an Hour

June 21, 2017 By Shelley Zurek 50 Comments

Got an Hour? Create a Niche Website Now!

How and Why to create a niche website in less than one hour

Have you always wanted to create a website?

Have you always wanted to share your knowledge on a topic with the world? Perhaps, you have a hankering for a little online store to sell your crafts or vintage items? Maybe, you have a course that you just know you could teach that would help others?

Why create a niche website?

  1. To make money by selling products
  2. To inform others and collect knowledge on a specific topic
  3. To generate income with affiliate links, ads or sponsored posts
  4. To showcase your hobby
  5. To teach a skill
  6. To get a job
  7. To promote a cause
  8. To build a community
  9. To promote your brand
  10. To promote other social channels

Of course, when you are creating your niche website, you will probably be combining several of the above reasons. For example, I want to create a niche website on Health Topics that Relate to Women over 45. I want to do this to inform others and collect knowledge on a specific topic (#2), to generate income (#3), and build a community (#8).

Creating a Niche website in less than an hour is easier to do than you might imagine!

is promoting their . There are various price levels so you can learn how to create a niche website in less than an hour for any project you have in mind. Personal Websites start at $5.99/month (and take less than an hour to set up)…really! You get all the resources to build your site plus you get website hosting included, that’s an amazing deal! The various pricing levels pack in more advantages as you slide along the scale.

Why and how to create a Niche Website in less than one hour

I am going to give you a walk through of how I designed a site with GoDaddy GoCentral Website Builder. Here are the basic steps:

Why and How to create a niche website in less than an hour

Today, I am going to show you how to set up a niche website about health topics for women over 45. You could use my example for any niche blog, except an e-commerce site. In a previous blog post, I showed you set up a quick e-commerce site in How to Set Up an Online Vintage Store (but my example would work for any e-commerce site).

First, I went in to GoDaddy and signed up for No credit card required! Then, the website asked a few simple questions about my topic and site name.

The GoCentral Website Builder then knew what feel to give my site and chose stock health-related pictures to get me started. Once I let GoCentral Website Builder know that I wanted a health related site, it presented me with a design to edit. Wow! Instantly, I could see my website unfolding before my eyes. I loved that I could alter so many aspects and figure out the look myself! I could change the header’s look, add sections, incorporate a blog feed and embed videos. The selection of graphics, fonts, and colors was phenomenal. ALL this but no need to understand how to code!

Changing colors, fonts and sections:

Incorporating my blog’s health feed:

Putting in my own images into the header:
My previous websites that I created on other platforms have taken days to design and cost me quite a bit to work with a designer to get them set up. In about an hour, on GoCentral’s Website builder, I had a health related niche site that looked great. I could also set up SEO, email targeting and more. As well, I could view the site on both mobile and desktop so I was sure I had the look I wanted. Another bonus is that I can build websites from my desktop and mobile device as well, websites on the fly!
