Chief Blonde Remarks: I tried the White Sands Marcel curling iron. At first, it was very different for me to use then my regular big barrel curling iron which I think most Women over 45 are used to using. I wasn’t accustomed to the spinning barrel and the skill needed when curling with my left hand. I watched the video above a number of times, then I finally mastered it. Let me tell you–I AM NO STYLIST! So here’s an example of the waves I achieved, I was really quite pleased! It gave me a much looser, beachy look then my regular curling iron.
I had my stylist, Alyssa Bratton, take a look at the curling iron and try it out. Her reaction was overwhelmingly positive for the White Sands Marcel Curling Iron. Although she felt the spring action of the iron might be a bit difficult for a non-professional to adjust to, she thought the price was great for the soft, sexy curls that were achieved. She liked how the barrel was designed to spin with your fingers and not your wrist enabling her to achieve curls that really held up. She was amazed at the speed at which the iron heated up and loved the digital readout. She also felt the Titanium barrel was nice because of its professional grade and that it doesn’t absorb product.
