Tired? What Tablet can Replace my Laptop?
Today’s discussion on “What tablet can replace my laptop?” is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic.
Tired of Lugging your Laptop?
When laptops first came out they were a poor substitute for the desktop computer. Overtime, they have eclipsed the desktop as they have become faster with increased storage. While today’s laptop is an advancement there is no denying that tablets are starting to encroach on the laptop space in terms of portability.
I am a blogger. I usually take my laptop everywhere with me (did you know the average laptop is 5 pounds not including cord/mouse/etc). But I’ll be honest, on my last few trips, I just left it home…too heavy. Too much to lug. Charger/Cord is massive. It’s just not portable. By the time I am through the airport or to the hotel room I am exhausted! What’s a girl to do?
What Tablet can Replace my Laptop?
I just know I want a tablet…it’s at the top of my Christmas list. But which one?
Because I had the opportunity to work with Microsoft and check out electronics at the Microsoft store I have really fallen in love with the. Why?
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is:
- Packable: ultrathin, fast, and versatile, the perfect balance of portability and power
- Functions like a laptop: 6th generation Intel Core processors and up to 1TB of storage, it’s built to run professional-grade software, SSD, 4GB-16GB RAM
- Display as good as a laptop: PixelSense Display has stunning color and contrast that comes to life with Surface Pen and touch.
- Weighs 1.73 lb!
Did you see that last bullet? 1.73 lbs…that feature alone pushes me over the edge but how about this:
That’s right! It’s a tablet and a laptop in one. is meticulously crafted to be a powerful, ultrathin laptop – or a beautiful tablet that can stand on its own. It’s great for business travel or a life that keeps you moving, and the Type Cover3 features perfectly spaced, backlit keys and a large trackpad that supports multi-touch and gestures.
