Weekend Packing | Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Tech Structured Cube

November 1, 2017 By Elise Mansour 355 Comments

Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Tech might be just what you need!

Guy’s Weekend Packing for a Las Vegas Trip

Weekend Packing Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Tech Structured Cube

Possibly the Perfect Packing Tool: New Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Tech™ Structured Cube and Cargo Hauler Duffel 45L.

Walt and I recently headed off to Las Vegas with my dad. Did you know that McCarren Airport is the 8th busiest airport in the US according to Wikipedia? Given that traffic, who wants to wait for your luggage at baggage claim? Get a carry-on duffel and some packing cubes and you are all set right?
Now wait a minute, how are you going to get all your stuff in a carry-on?

Walt wanted to take along the following in his carry-on (remember he is 6′ 6″ tall so his clothes are HUGE). :

  • 1 pair of Blue jeans
  • 1 pair of athletic shorts
  • 1 pair of regular shorts
  • 1 dress shirt
  • 1 t shirt
  • 1 athletic shirt
  • 3 pair of underwear
  • 2 undershirts
  • 2 pair of dress socks
  • 1 pair of atheltic socks
  • 2 belts
  • 3 chargers
  • sunglasses and case
  • toiletries
  • books and cards
  • headphones

Now how he is all that going to fit into one carry-on duffel bag? Let’s watch the video and see.

Introducing the Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Tech Structured Cube!

Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Tech Structured Cube

The new Pack-It Specter Tech™ line blends the best features of Pack-It Specter™ and Pack-It Original™ for the ultimate packing tool set.

The new Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Tech Structured Cube takes it a step further and combines the best functions of two of their most popular styles to create posibly the best single packing tool, ever.

  • Folding board
  • Compresses to half original size if needed
Using the wrinkle-fighting folding board of the Folder with the compresion capabilites of the Compression Cubes, the Structured Cube enables you to get just the right balance of compact and flat-folded so you look like a champ straight out of the bag.
Weekend Packing Eagle Creek Pack-It Specter Tech Structured Cube
I loved how all of the elements that Eagle Creek sent worked together to get Walt’s clothes packed fast and in a compact space.  As you will see in the video above, I used Eagle Creek’s
Pack-It Specter Tech™ Starter Set S/M/M, Pack-It Specter Tech™ Sac Set S/M/L, Pack-It Specter Tech™ Slim Cube S and packed it all into the Cargo Hauler Duffel 45L / S.

Buy it!

You can find all Eagle Creek items at their website and on Amazon

My choice would be Pack-It Spector Tech Sac Set in black. I like the fact it comes in SML so my apparel and accessories have the right size cube. There is nothing worse than an earring snagging a sweater and pulling a thread loose. I also do the packing for the whole family. If I let my husband or son do their on packing they would throw everything in a plastic grocery bag. I refuse to be embarrassed by their packing methods whether we’re traveling by car, airplane or train.

I like the pack it sport active set, in fushia/black. Or the classic backpack, it would be perfect for camping trips that includes a lot of hiking.

I like the Tarmac AWD 26 in blue. Love the easy to glide wheels, that it is a carry on size and that it has easy access area—great for travel.

Many of these items provide an essential answer to a need – I’ve had to use that of my carrier to hold my medical records; I hope one day to afford a laptop! If the choice was mine, it would be in my best interest to request that of the Family Travel Gear Kit – $539.00 (Item # EC0A3VB3). These would also serve as a great bag when having to spend over-night and beyond in the hospital!

    Good Luck to Everyone!

Pack-It Original Cube Set looks so handy for all the loose items that end up getting buried under clothing in my luggage.

I would like the Shoe Sac Set. Nothings more gross than having your tennis shoes that roam the earth you travel, on your sleep shirt or your evening blouse.
