Vacation Prep: Test Drive Your Diet

February 24, 2016 By Shelley Zurek 65 Comments

EEK! Vacation is coming! How will you decide on your diet?

Vacation Prep Test Drive your Diet Jenny Craig

Vacation prepping and making diet choices. Wouldn’t you love a test drive?

Are you heading out for vacation in the next few months and hoping to get your get your body in tip-top shape? I don’t know about you, but I always find it confusing trying to pick the right vacation diet. One of my biggest issues is that I would like the support of a program and even the prepared foods, but which one to choose? I hate the thought of committing to a diet, especially a program, and not even knowing if the support is any good or what the food tastes like. Don’t you?

I have always wanted to be able to test drive a program. Wouldn’t it be great to get a sampling of the food and the counseling without committing?

  • Just for buying the kit, I get a FREE month of consultation for any Jenny Craig Center in the US (or via telephone at Jenny Craig anywhere)…so I know what kind of support they will give me if I sign up
  • Going forward, I get a $50 food credit to use when I sign up with Jenny Craig…hey, who doesn’t like saying a little money?
  • The Jenny Craig starter kit is available exclusively at your local Walmart…so easy to try

Psst! Just for you, I test drove all 20 of the Jenny Craig Weight Loss 5 day Starter Kit items! I took pictures so you could see the actual food!

There seems to be a nice variety of items. Cheese curls are a favorite, so I would like to try these to see how they measure up. We like to travel and having meal plan items like this would make meal planning easy and convenient on a long trip in an RV.

I’m curious to know if it did you any good. Lower caloric intake is always good, we’re doing it on our own. Takes more self control than I have some days. LOL

Kaycee, I feel like it did. I feel like I would plunge into the Jenny Craig longer term. It was nice to not have to think about cooking and meal prep. The Chief Blonde

I’m excited to see these now at local stores. Years ago, I joined Jenny Craig and lost weight prior to my wedding. I enjoyed the foods.

I saw this at Walmart and thought it was a great idea. Some people just don’t like going to a ‘store’ and signing up for a weight loss program. I think it’s great.

I would try it if it did not have any type of artificial sweeteners or fake fat. I would want real sugar and real fat

Perfect review! I was just wondering what I should pack for my sister weekend next week. I’ve been doing such a great job eating healthy at home but I don’t want to blow it all away in 4 days!
Great suggestions, but I am packing some fresh fruit as well. (ps. If you get stuck in Vegas without fruit, the Starbucks shops have the cheapest bananas!)
