New digs? How about at Tree Stump Gnome Home!

Walt and I discovered this charming Tree Stump Gnome Home in Davisburg, MI.

What is a Tree Stump Gnome Home?

A tree stump gnome home is quite literally tree stump that has been converted to be a home for gnomes and other fantasy creatures. Gnome homes are fanciful creations sprinkled throughout the country incorporating whimsical landscaping, romantic doors, and hints of wonder that lays within.

Many makers of gnome homes wish they had a tree stump in their yard so that they could make a Tree Stump Gnome Home. With a tree stump as a shell, the gnome home takes on a other worldly look and feel. Certainly, building a gnome home from a forlorn tree stump takes the creation of your gnome home to a whole new level.

This is such a cute way to recycle a tree stump! In my are the HOA would probably say it is a zoning violation. But I love it!

So adorable, and it is a fun find! In our area, it would probably require a building permit, and zoning would nix it.

What a great idea for covering a tree stump. And save the cost of having to hire someone to dig it up

I’ve never seen a tree stump gnome home. I think maybe because it might be out of place in sunny year-round So. Cal. I think you need a real fall/winter! They’re cute, though…

A quick question/comment: Can you fix your tweets so that they don’t keep showing up in my photo/videos on the side of my twitter account? They really clog that up.
Thanks for all your great contests.
