Bowman and Landes Turkey Products

bowman and Landes Review

Bowman and Landes Turkey Products from Top Chop Market.  Top, Left to Right: Cooked Smoked Cheddar Sausage;  Combo Pack from Top Chop Market ($66); Top Chop Market Logo; Variety available in Combo Pack; Bowman and Landes Logo; Turkey Sausage Mushroom Fritta; Bowman and Landes Turkey Sausage; Turkey Sausage Burgers and Portabella Mushroom Fritta.
My Mom Is the BESTstill blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks:  The Bowman and Landes Turkey Products from Top Chop Market are part of the “My Mom is Best!” Giveaway Hop sponsored by Still Blonde after all these Years (that’s me!) and Modly Chic.

Top Chop Market provided me with a “Combo Package” so that I could try out all their amazing Bowman and Landes Ethical Turkey Products.  I adored the Combo Package.  It was fun to try all the different turkey products, I would highly recommend the combo pack as a gift for the “Turkey” lover on your gift list who also appreciates meat that is antibiotic free, veggie-fed and free-range ($66).  Our favorite item in the combo package was the country style turkey sausage. It tasted like regular breakfast sausage but with minimal fat, and a more subtle sausage flavor.  DELICIOUS!

The Combo Pack contained 7.25 pounds of Bowman and Landes Ethical Turkey products including  the following:

  • 2 Packs of Burgers (Ground turkey & Turkey Sausage)-2lbs of Burgers,  4 Patties per pack
  • 1 Pack of Butter Garlic Marinated Fillets-1.25lbs of Fillets,  2 Fillets per pack
  • 2 Packs of Uncooked Sausage (Sweet Italian & Country Style)-2lbs of Sausage,  5 Sausages per pack
  • 2 Packs of Cooked Sausage (Bratwurst & Smoked Cheddar)-2lbsof Sausage,  4 Sausages per pack

We enjoyed the chance to experience many of the Bowman and Landes turkey products in one large container.  The Bowman and Landes  products came frozen solid, packed in dry ice and then in a styro-cooler.  If I were to add one item to the combo, I think it would be the Turkey Bacon!  Who doesn’t adore bacon?  The items in the Combo Pack were enough for over 17 meals with Walt’s serving size about double mine.  $3.88/meal is fantastic for such high quality meat products.

I would love to try the Ground Turkey Burgers (3 lbs)because we love to cook out in the summertime and this would give us an opportunity to try turkey burgers to see how they taste and also to offer a beef alternative to guests.

Turkey Bacon because it’s sometime I’ve always wanted to try but have been hesitant to do so…just always assumed it wouldn’t hold up to “the real stuff” 🙂

I’d like to try the turkey bacon, because I love turkey bacon, but at over $14 a pound it’s very unlikely I’ll ever buy it.
