Just the other night, I used a gift I had received in a game we play annually at our family Christmas gathering. Names are drawn from a bowl and that person gets to choose a wrapped gift from the pile before them or steal a gift from someone who went ahead of them. There are nice gifts along with some booby prizes to make the game interesting. Well, I had put my gift in as a booby prize, but my brother actually stole it from my grandfather because he absolutely loved it – a mug that read “I Flunked Anger Management.” I had filled it with candy to make it a little better, but he gave the candy away and kept the mug. No one could understand why he loved the mug so much – my brother is pretty mild mannered. It was quite funny.

My sister in law gave me a blanket that I never used and I ended up giving it right back to her not realizing she was the one that gave it to me in the first place!

I don’t see anything wrong with regifting a new gift especially if it is something you think they would like. Sometimes I re gift things I want to keep, but don’t have enough to give, so that helps.
