Tangled Treasures and Tangled Gardens Coloring Book

by Jane Monk

Tangled Gardens & Tangled Treasures Jane Monk

I received these Adult Coloring Books from Quarto Publishing: Tangled Treasures Coloring Book ( Amazon), Tangled Gardens Coloring Book ( Amazon).

What is an Adult Coloring Books?

I know that adult coloring books sound a little racy. But really these coloring books are simply coloring books that adults enjoy coloring.  They are more intricate with more purpose than a child’s coloring book.

Unlike painting, you don’t need to have the skills or training of an artist to create masterpieces. Thanks to the design of the Tangled Coloring Books, all you need to do is pick the colors you prefer and color within the lines. You’ll temporarily disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle, escaping to a world filled with creativity, inspiration, and serenity. Color Me Stress Free color me Calm

Tangled Gardens Jane Monk Tangled Gardens Coloring Book by Jane Monk – If the snow and cold stress you out, cozy up to Jane Monk’s Tangled Gardens. Use your brightest pigments to create a warm and inviting garden while you wait for spring to return. I was really drawn to this coloring book. The designs were fresh and did not have a dated “era” feel to me. I felt the 52 designs were whimsical and intricate to color. Tangled Gardens has the excitement of a 500 piece puzzle.

Tangled Treasures 200 Tangled Treasures Coloring Book by Jane Monk – The soothing flow of tangling plus the meditative action of coloring makes this book a treat. I love how Jane Monk shows you different ways to color (shade, layer and straight color) and other techniques (marking, what colors to put together).  The designs are inviting and simply pull you in and make you want to get out your colored pencils…even if you haven’t colored in years. Tangled Gardens Tangled Treasures coloring Book

I’d prefer Tangled Treasures of the Gardens one, it’s more fun and trippy.

I like the ability within the design to either combine the ‘tangle’ or completely make it psychedelic with the colors you choose. It can certainly make it your own artwork!

I like how the backside of each page is blank so that if you tear a page out you won’t lose a picture.

I really love how detailed the pictures are! When I’m coloring, if the pages aren’t detailed enough, I find myself getting bored.

Honestly to me it reminds me of high school when I use to just doodle like that. Haven’t done it in years. I am really intrigued by the blue covering, the designs are great but the blue just yells at me.

I like the designs in the book. I like something that is a bit more “busy” so I can really try out many color patterns while coloring.

These pictures are beautiful in black and white; I love botanical themes! Coloring these in would be so soothing… <3

What appeals to me about this particular book is that, according to the Amazon reviews, the author gives you tips on using different markers and pencils and how to blend and shade. I could use this type of instruction, so this book sounds like one I would really enjoy using.

I love that this is a bigger coloring book, has 52 different designs & orginals! I really like that the designs are described as quirky too, right up my alley! Plus I just love to color.

I like how the design on the front cover is a bit geometric even though it looks floral. Thanks.

I was not a great “colorer” as a child, but I’m thinking that these intricate patterns are exactly what I need to improve my skills, plus with upgraded coloring utensils, there are no boundaries.
