Tangled Treasures and Tangled Gardens Coloring Book

by Jane Monk

Tangled Gardens & Tangled Treasures Jane Monk

I received these Adult Coloring Books from Quarto Publishing: Tangled Treasures Coloring Book ( Amazon), Tangled Gardens Coloring Book ( Amazon).

What is an Adult Coloring Books?

I know that adult coloring books sound a little racy. But really these coloring books are simply coloring books that adults enjoy coloring.  They are more intricate with more purpose than a child’s coloring book.

Unlike painting, you don’t need to have the skills or training of an artist to create masterpieces. Thanks to the design of the Tangled Coloring Books, all you need to do is pick the colors you prefer and color within the lines. You’ll temporarily disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle, escaping to a world filled with creativity, inspiration, and serenity. Color Me Stress Free color me Calm

Tangled Gardens Jane Monk Tangled Gardens Coloring Book by Jane Monk – If the snow and cold stress you out, cozy up to Jane Monk’s Tangled Gardens. Use your brightest pigments to create a warm and inviting garden while you wait for spring to return. I was really drawn to this coloring book. The designs were fresh and did not have a dated “era” feel to me. I felt the 52 designs were whimsical and intricate to color. Tangled Gardens has the excitement of a 500 piece puzzle.

Tangled Treasures 200 Tangled Treasures Coloring Book by Jane Monk – The soothing flow of tangling plus the meditative action of coloring makes this book a treat. I love how Jane Monk shows you different ways to color (shade, layer and straight color) and other techniques (marking, what colors to put together).  The designs are inviting and simply pull you in and make you want to get out your colored pencils…even if you haven’t colored in years. Tangled Gardens Tangled Treasures coloring Book

I really love the idea that she did this as/from a quilter’s perspective. And the designs that are shown are lovely.

These coloring books seem so relaxing. I love to color with my daughter but it is usually my little pony and tinkerbell books.

I think that learning how to shade in something would be the best experience, plus all of the different Colors!

I like that she gives you some tips and techniques at the beginning of the book and I like that all you have to do is “color in the lines.” lol

I have been coloring for years to combat stress. I have my own regular kids coloring books and my kids know not to touch them! They know to use their own and not mommy’s special ones. My mom is the same way. I also have my own set of crayons to use. I like the idea of these adult coloring books. I like the repetitive and detailed designs.

The reviews on the coloring book make it appealing. I read that it is by far the most beautiful adult coloring book some had ever colored.

I love coloring books and used to color with my children when they were young. My oldest child passed away a couple of weeks ago and I am so stressed and upset from the loss of my daughter Wendy and saw this and thought it may help my nerves. Thank you for the chance to win. Merry Christmas Everyone.

I always loved coloring it truely is relaxing. I love that the pages are thick and easy to remove. That way if you’re using markers it won’t bleed thru to the next page.
