Spiegel used to be THE CATALOG! Women over 45 know that you waited for the big oversized version to come in the mail, 2-3 times/year. You would spend hours pouring over the pages. Smaller sale catalogs came randomly as well, and you just hoped and prayed that the item that you had been tracking would be on sale. Game show hosts used to giveaway Spiegel gift certificates and they would always say the name and address “Spiegel Catalog, Chicago, 60609”. Most women over a certain age, to this day, could tell you that zip code.
Spiegel.com is the new Spiegel
After going through some tough times in 2000-2011, Spiegel came back strong last year by announcing a new website, Spiegel.com, (launched in October) and Robert Lowe III as International Creative Director. Yes, Spiegel on the Internet! They are an online-only fashion store, which means you can shop 24/7 from anywhere in the USA. That beats a catalog anyday!!

Who has not heard of Spiegel? I think they have some great things, I like that Lydia Trench in Ivory.
I used to love the Spiegel Catalog when I was younger, so did my sister! These are adorable coats!
