Toys from the ’60s Skat Skoota + Great Giveaway
Blog Note: The Chief Blonde brings you the Skat Skoota information for your enjoyment. She received a promotional item.
Skat-Skoota (or Skat Skoota) is like Walking on Wheels!
The Skat Skoota made by Empire (or Eagle Toys Canada), from the 1960s was a riot to play on and also a total death trap. Essentially, you pedaled it to ride it. The pedals often got stuck in a wonky way, throwing you from the toy and causing skinned knees and hands (WHO wore pads or helmets in the ’60s?)
The tires and wheels of the Skat Skoota were brightly colored polyethylene. It was a super durable toy. You can occasionally find Skat Skootas for sale on eBay. They tend to go for around $20. If you find one buy it! Although this toy only goes in a straight line, it provides hours of fun (and/or broken limbs!)

I’m not big on all the apps, but if I were to choose one to give a try it would be the AchieveMint app.
I wouldn’t mind trying ‘MyMedical’. Unfortunately, I have a lot of records to keep track of. It can get confusing…remembering all the dates, appt. times, phone numbers, etc.
I am so old school that I don’t have a phone that can use apps but I would use the Weight Watchers one if I did.
I like the KeyRing because it’s getting awkward to carry all the loyalty cards around all the time.
I love the concept of PaperKarma. I just downloaded it and am going to try it out.
I really like AchieveMint. I think it’s a great idea and could be really helpful for some people. Thank you.
I’m loving the Mymedical app! It makes it so much easierto organize my prescription meds and overall health. I also use fitness and calorie counting apps and these have all changed my life! 🙂
