August 15, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 19 Comments

How do I protect my computer and all my mobile devices?

This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by Coupons .com. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic

How do I protect my family from computer Viruses

Hackers and Viruses in the Headlines

You have read the most recent news reports:

  • Russian criminals steal 1.2 billion passwords
  • Insight Publishes Back to School Guidelines as Classrooms Brace for Tech Influx
  • Hacker worms his way into WSJ computer systems

The world is a scary scary place these days. I don’t have the know how or tools to deal by myself with this kind of evil threats on my devices, do you? I sure can’t afford to hire a tech person to deal with all the threats to all the devices in my home either!

How do I protect my family from computer viruses

How do I protect my family from computer viruses?

With multiple devices, some mobile, some home based what’s the best way to protect your family from viruses, hackers, password theft, while all the time repeling online invaders?  How do you make sure that your kids returning to college have the solutions they need against online threats?  A multi-device solution like  might just be just the protection that you seek.

Why Multi-Device Protection?

Multi-device Protection covers all your devices – Norton 360™ for PCs, Norton™ Internet Security 5 for Mac® and Norton Mobile Security for iPhones®, iPads® and Android™ smartphones and tablets. For a mere $70 a year, you can get 1 year of protection on up to 5 devices. That should get your kids back to school with less worry right?

Operating from one screen you can quickly add all your devices, activating protection for all your devices. You will appreciate that if you child loses their phone while away at college Norton 360 Multi-Device has loss-prevention tools that let you locate missing phones and tablets, while backing up files and contacts to protect them. I like that the program updates silently constantly protecting my family–you know those darn viruses and hackers never sleep!

Extra Bonuses!

Norton 360 offers 24×7 online and phone support, because you know you or your children will have questions. Also, you can check out Norton by Symantec coupons from Coupons .com where you will currently find Norton by Symantec offers including 2 coupon codes, and 11 sales.

Have used Norton for years, they are an excellent product. I know they will send a warning if they detect a suspicious website so you can hit the “back” arrow button and avoid getting a virus, and they have a lot of other great features!

I ask myself this and worry about this. There are so many threats out there, and we put so much information on our computers. Now with tablets, smartphones, and the cloud you want to make sure everything is protected. Thanks. Great photo by the way! Love the smiles.

Protecting your table and other mobile devices is a great idea. I usually think of protection on my desktop but you made some great points!

You’re right, it is super scary to read all of the headlines that seem to come out every week about new threats out there. After I got a bad computer virus (that ruined the computer), we made sure we got Norton for our new one…but I have to admit I never even thought about what kind of protection we have for our other mobile devices/tablets! I love that this one product will cover them all!

It is scary what can happen if the wrong people get into your computer and what a little bitty computer virus can do. It is so much better to be protected ahead of time. Prevention is the key!

I’ve always had Norton for my computer, but honestly never even thought about viruses and such on my phone. Great tips – I’ll have to look into adding Norton for some mobile protection as well.

The fact that the world is becoming a scarier and scarier place each and every day is sad but oh-so true. You really wonder WHY hackers choose to spend their time and knowledge on cheating and hurting people when they can do so much MORE to better the world!
