At Still Blonde after all these YEARS! we have had multiple opportunities to experience the excellence of White Sands Hair Products. We debuted Whitney Houston as styled by Tiffanie Dixon with a uber-Chic hairstyle that anyone over 45 can rock in our Blog Post HAIRSTYLES: Great Hairstyles for Women over 45! November edition 45+.
We recommended White Sands products White Sands Liquid Texture Soft Hold Styling Spray, White Sands Curl Up in Silk Texture Defining Mousse in our Girly Girl Holiday Gift Guide for Women 45 and Over!–2009 and named it our official Products/Brand of the 2009 Holiday Season, winning White Sands this exclusive feature focus piece on our site.
Apparently others are recognizing this awesome brand. Recently, White Sands Infinity Finishing Spray ($21) was chosen the recipient of Best Hairspray for Beauty Launchpad Magazine’s 2009 Readers Choice Awards! Infinity Finishing Spray has quickly transformed into the hairspray of choice for celebrity hairstylists, salon stylists and their clients. Due to the product’s versatility and infinite styling options, Infinity is a flexible finish spray, providing incredible hold, control, and volume. This hairspray can be easily combed through for any style change, provides UV protection, and repels moisture, even in the harshest weather conditions.
Infinity Finishing Sprayis also ideal with any hot tool, allowing you to create and recreate with ease. Infinity even increases the amount of shine in the hair when paired with your favorite iron. The more heat applied, the shinier the hair becomes, providing superior on-demand styling performance.
While we at Still Blonde after all these Years! have not tried this particular Hairspray by White Sands, it certainly appear that others recommend it highly. We really liked the White Sands Soft Hold Liquid texture ($19) which works great for scrunching especially after using White Sands Curl Up in Silk (Texture Defining Moisturizing Mousse FIRM–$19.50). Our reviewers head was just one big swirl of shiny ropey curls. This winning combo would be fantastic on vacation for wash and go hair!
Another thing we personally love about White Sands is their website. While heavily populated with younger women, you can still visualize how the products and styles might work on Women over 45–although I wish they’d feature a few! One section that’s really fun is their Click through “View the Latest Trends” section, which even gives you tips on how to style your hair to that style. Another fun section is the Hype Section, which details how Hollywood Stylists are using White Sands Products to make their Stars look even better.
New Product Announcement for January 2010! As one of the first hair care products incorporating the breathtaking oil from the orchid flower, Orchids by White Sands($20) is a unique oil to instantly restore inner balance to the hair and scalp, while creating shine and adding natural moisture to tired, stressed tresses.
Orchids by White Sands encompasses a one of a kind concept due to the characteristics of the orchid flower itself. The orchid is immortal since its cell membranes contain a longevity molecule (i.e. cell membranes do not deteriorate with time). With only a 3-4 year lifespan for each hair strand, Orchids by White Sands will make hair reach its best state with unsurpassed elasticity and longevity. This immortality, in return, will intensify and improve the integrity of hair allowing tresses to “live” in the best cuticle condition during its lifetime. We at Still Blonde after all these YEARS! have not had an opportunity to review this product, so we feature it based on the company’s reputation!
