On the Record with Mick Rock
coming to Ovation TV 8/2 at 8PM ET
Mick Rock premieres with an original spin on the musician profile series
Oh! We are all in for musical treat! Mick Rock is as famous for capturing iconic images of ’70s rock stars as he is today, photographing the up-and-coming of the music industry. He now takes his insights to a new level, hosting a MUST SEE series that takes a new twist on musician interviews. Premiering 8/2 at 8:00PM ET on Ovation TV, I will be glued to my set for his can’t-miss interview with Josh Groban. Special Bonus: We get to hear Josh sing as well!
The premise of the series, On the Record with Mick Rock, is Mick traveling with the musician back to where it all began…their hometown. During the premiere episode, native Angeleno and multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban takes Mick on an inspiring tour of Los Angeles, relating stories about a high school teacher who mentored him in his success, giving us a glimpse of the after-school Shakespeare program he personally supports and treating Mick (and all of us as well SQUEEEE!) to a moving performance of his song, Hidden Away. Premieres 8/2 8:00pm EST!

I love Neil Young’s work – for me he’s still the best musician today
I haven’t been to the greatest concert yet – but hoping to see Neil Young in concert one day!
The greatest Beatle was John Lennon.
I haven’t seen that many performances!! I saw Three dog night at an outdoor lAwn concert it felt very 60’s to me despite it being 2001.
So many great musicians it’s so hard to say who the best is some of the great ones are gone. I will have to give some love to cat Stevens who fell off the face of the earth
The best concert I ever went to was Elton John just this past spring!! It was an accumulation Of SEVEN years of birthday presents and my husband bought like 7th row
I don’t like playing favorites but my fav Beatles has to be George Harrison bc of the songs my sweet lord and here comes the son
1. Greatest Beatle is Ringo Starr because of he’s the coolest Beatle and he has a good sense of humor.
2. Greatest concert I ever experienced was a Jazz concert that I went to a few years ago. The group was from the South. The music was awesome, incredible sounds. And afterwards, while the band was packing up their gear, I spent some time talking to them about music.
3. Best musician today is Joshua Bell, the violinist. I’ve watched him many times. The first time was the video for the music from “The Red Violin”. It’s worth watching more then once.
4. Best performance of any kind that I have attended was watching Chinese acrobats in Beijing, China perform. If I didn’t see their feats with my own eyes, I would have thought someone was making up what they did.
The best performance I ever saw was Rush.
P J Harvey is my favorite musician.
The greatest concert was David Bowie in the 80’s it was awesome!
In my opinion the greatest Beatle was John Lennon because he was the best songwriter.
4. Shinedown or Papa Roach. Their concert are just so much fun. It’s loud, flashing lights, favorite songs, sometimes some explosion of some sort. Just awesome.
3. This one is really hard. I love so many. So maybe Papa Roach. I love his music and he puts so much personality into his performances. And to me his songs are relatable.
2. Greatest concert would have to be BuzzFest. It is an all day concert starting around 1pm to about 11pm. With a bunch of great bands like Papa Roach, Shinedown, Stone Sour, Sick Puppies, Cage the Elephant. I think you get the point. There’s 2 a year and different bands. Usually around 13 bands total.
1. I don’t know the difference between The Beatles. I just like some of the song.
Paul McCartney is my gave Beatle because I grew up listening and hearing his song with my father putting up his song on every weekend morning. I love his voice.
My greatest concert I ever experience was when Michael Jackson went here in the Philippines.
Beatles is still th greatest musician ever.
the prince of Pop Michael Jackson.
Weird Al! He’s still surprising us with good music. I love his new song ‘Tacky’.
My husband took me to go see Weird Al Yankovic and it was amazing! It was something I dreamed of doing since I was a child.
Ringo! He was able to poke fun at himself by being in one of the early Simpsons episodes.
