Nude for Fall! Fall Manicures

September 21, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 112 Comments

Wait did I say nude?

Nude for Fall Fall Manicures Nude Manicures    The Chief Blonde is wearing Crab Tree and Evelyn Mocha Nail Lacquer ($6), Gold Double Happiness Necklace (gift from friend, similar) and O-ring Gold Heart Ring (bought in Zurich Switzerland, similar).

I hate applying my own nail polish, do you?

It’s not that I hate nail polish application, it’s just that I am such a spaz. I am the messiest person in the world and it seems that my skin gets more nail polish on it then my finger tips. BUT…guess what I discoverd? I was sent these lovely nude shades from Crabtree &Evelyn. They not only stay on a long time, but also apply easily. With them being nude shades, even my tiny little mess-ups are very hard to see.  BONUS! Nude for Fall Fall Manicures Nude Manicures My favorite of the four new shades is the Mocha which I have on my nails above. The perfect shade for fall manicures. I like the staying power of the polish (2-3 days with no top or bottom coat.) The Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquers:

  • Reinforces and protects nails
  • Formulated without camphor, dibutyl phthalates, formaldehyde or toluene
  • Universal shades that flatter every skin tone

Crabtree & Evelyn Nude for Fall Manicures Crabtree and Evelyn’s New Nude Shades: Alabaster, Mocha, Almond and Peaches and Cream ($6 from Crabtree & Evelyn).

Which is your favorite of the four new shades?  Will you be wearing nudes for your fall manicures?

These are great and definitely my style. I like shades that are more sheer and neutral. Now, that it’s winter you could step it up by doing darker versions of these shades if you wanted.

I love that shade and especially with the gold jewelry accents. It is the perfect shade for both work and play.

My favorite is the Peaches and Cream. I’ll probably wear a mix of nudes and some color for the fall.

I love the Mocha shade also. I always lean towards softer shades on my nails when I wear polish. I usually do my own nails. I don’t enjoy it but if I even think of getting my nails done professionally, I am sure to break a nail or two!

Yes I have so much trouble applying my own finger nail polish. Thank goodness I have 5 granddaughters that love putting on my fingernail and toenail polish for me. They are all such Angels. I love your OPI Nail Polish, in the My Dogsled is A Hybrid shade it’s one of my favorite colors.

I really do like the Nail polish you have on the Crab Tree and Evelyn Mocha Nail Lacquer ! It so soft and it does have a Beautiful Metallic look to me! Yes I do not like putting on my own Nail Polish.. I seem to get a bit messy and turns out much Prettier when I have it Done!

Hi Cathy. I am a mess with nail polish too. That’s why if I wear any, it’s usually these nude shades. Shelley Zurek

I do love the nude manicures. However I trend towards the Metallic nude colors. I love the shine of the metallic! I also prefer the Beige metallic. Very Pretty>

I don’t hate doing nail polish, I just don’t do it. This is a nice color for fall.

I like nude polish. I typically choose browns for my make-up and nail polish is the same way. I’d wear all of the four shades, and I am glad they are in style.

I’m really bad at doing my own nails, too, and I like nude shades because they need less maintenance.

Crabtree and Evelyn is one of my favorite stores; EVER! I change my polish every two or three days and I have found the older I become, the more I appreciate nude colors. It seems that nude shades make my fingers look longer and result in thinner looking fingers.

I really like nude colors. I think they are classy and never really go out of style.

I tend to lean toward Nude, White and really hard to tell light pink. I very rarely change. So I will be wearing Nudes this fall.

I love that color on you, not sure how it would look on me but its a great color, knowing me I would end up adding sparkles or glitter ,,
