Who Is Mia Hamm?

Mariel Margaret Hamm-Garciaparra, born 3-17 1972 (42 years old) is known to her fans as Mia Hamm (born March 17, 1972).  She is retired soccer forward playing for both the United States women’s national soccer team and the Washington Freedom.

Hamm holds has held many soccer records during her career including the national team record for most career assists with 144. In 2001 and 2020, Hamm was named the women’s FIFA World Player of the Year.  Interestingly, she was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame along with the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, and the World Football Hall of Fame.

Mia Hamm Signed Soccer Ball

The Mia Hamm signed soccer ball featured here is quite rare given that the Grain Foods Foundation (in 2012) partnered with Mia Hamm, to remind consumers of the important role bread and grains play in a healthy diet. She signed 12 of these mini soccer balls for them. This is ball is a traditional mini soccer ball that has the logo “Go with the grain” along with Mia Hamm signature and her number ( 9).

UPDATE: This post had a giveaway coupled with it that is now over. It had 3111 entries. See Giveaway Winner.

I prefer any of the multiple entry ways (rafflecopter or giveaway tools). It’s nice to just be able to click and confirm follows and tweets. I’m not a big fan of ones that want all that information in blog post comments.

I don’t really prefer one over the other. I do have to say they are so much nicer than having to leave comments for every entry.

Rafflcopter is fine but would be nice if everyone had an equal chance, not just the people who have the time to enter 20 million different ways.

I like them both for different reasons. Giveaway tools is quick and easy, but once you’ve logged in / tied your accounts to it, you can’t change it. Rafflecopter allows me to tweet with a different account or sign in with a different email address. I like to tweet book and Amazon giveaways with one account and stuff like this with a different account. Giveaway tools only lets you tweet with one account and you can’t change it.

So, overall, I prefer Rafflecopter for it’s flexibility in entry, but GT for it’s speed 🙂

Let me amend this because when I was saying Giveaway Tools, I was thinking of a different form! Both Giveaway tools and Rafflecopter are great. I think I like Giveaway tools just a tad bit better tho’ because it IS faster and you don’t have to copy / paste your tweets, insgagram names and so on 🙂

I would rather enter by Rafflecopter because I’m use to using it and it is easier and quicker or me.

I think the Rafflecopter is the best way. I feel it is the easiest!!

There are pros and cons for all the different giveaway widgets. Lately I’m really frustrated with how Rafflecopter is acting. Giveaway Tools is super easy to use. Gleam is easy too. My favorite, and I think the most “user-friendly”, is Giveaway Tools.

I like Giveaway tools as it lets you know easily if you follow and lets you edit some posts but RC does not let you go back and edit things.

I’m not sure I really have a preference. (Actually I think I like Gleam best, but that wasn’t an option here.) I guess I’d choose Rafflecopter between the two, because even when the form doesn’t show up, it’s easy to find a link to it.

I would much rather enter on rafflecoptor than any other method. I think it’s easiest overall or I am a creature of habit or both.

I used to prefer Rafflecopter versus Giveaway tools but anymore they’re both pretty easy to use

Although, I don’t like that Rafflecopter changed so that you can’t edit entries in case there was a typo

I like Rafflecopter. It seems to load faster, and I like that it auto loads the twitter accounts. For instance, on Rafflecopter I can look to see if I am following on twitter without automatically following, whereas the other platforms I have used force you to follow.

I prefer giveaway tools because I can open up more than one entry at a time and I can re-open an entry if I need to make a correction. With this new rafflecopter, you can’t go back and correct a mistake in an entry. I am horrible about hitting enter too soon or without looking at what I had typed in!
