Who Is Mia Hamm?

Mariel Margaret Hamm-Garciaparra, born 3-17 1972 (42 years old) is known to her fans as Mia Hamm (born March 17, 1972).  She is retired soccer forward playing for both the United States women’s national soccer team and the Washington Freedom.

Hamm holds has held many soccer records during her career including the national team record for most career assists with 144. In 2001 and 2020, Hamm was named the women’s FIFA World Player of the Year.  Interestingly, she was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame along with the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, and the World Football Hall of Fame.

Mia Hamm Signed Soccer Ball

The Mia Hamm signed soccer ball featured here is quite rare given that the Grain Foods Foundation (in 2012) partnered with Mia Hamm, to remind consumers of the important role bread and grains play in a healthy diet. She signed 12 of these mini soccer balls for them. This is ball is a traditional mini soccer ball that has the logo “Go with the grain” along with Mia Hamm signature and her number ( 9).

UPDATE: This post had a giveaway coupled with it that is now over. It had 3111 entries. See Giveaway Winner.

Giveaway Tools please. I have been having constant problems loading rafflecopter forms. They also make changes to their product without warning, and had a big fiasco over the holidays with impacted both entrants and bloggers. The forms still do not load without several refreshes for me. Giveaway tools is also more streamlined and much easier on us entrants, also you may get more entrants and esposure if you switch your form, as a lot of people I know are refusing to do rafflecopter contests because of all the problems with it. GT loads first time every time, Rafflecopter does not.

I prefer Rafflecopter because it will actually load most of the time for me. With Giveaway Tools, it depends on what computer I’m using whether or not it will even open up for me to use. Thanks.

I like the Gleam Giveaway tool better because it is easier to post Tweets, follow on Twitter and Instagram, etc.

I like to enter on giveaway tools! I think it’s easier and I feel more confident that I’ve done everything on giveaway tools!

I prefer Giveaway Tools because Rafflecopter often does not work correctly. It is much easier to use Giveaway Tools.

I am fine with both rafflecopter and giveaway tools. I say go with which one is easier for you and you like. The thing with giveaway tools is you can fix an answer after you submit it this comes in handy at times.

The current Rafflecopter forms are HORRIBLE! They always have trouble loading, and they freeze up after a few minutes and won’t allow submission of entries – so you have to keep refreshing the page, over and over! It’s starting to seem not worth it to even attempt to enter! FYI, I have tried switching browsers (used both Safari and Google Chrome), and that does not help the problem. Frankly, I don’t think Giveaway Tools is much better…so I’d pretty much prefer entering some other way.

RC has been stable in the new version. Before it could be flakey. GT is nice because it remembers what you put in for answers and also you can change something if you mess up.
I like GT better than RC.
Don’t care for the other ones I’ve seen.
I HATE GLEAM!! so please don’t use that one.
    Thanks for the contest.

I honestly do not care which form we use. I actually like to skip around to different ones. Rafflecopter does not allow me to fix problems and links like before when I accidently put the wrong username or something like that. I am starting to shy away from them some. Gleam is good but the sign in with different sites makes it hard.

I like these raffletools. I prefer the one that allows you to open ALL the possible items so I can quickly review the one’s that are automatically confirmed and I can complete those quickly.

I’m used to rafflecopter, but some of the options on giveaway tools are nice, such as being able to click to visit a site and having the tool recognize that you have clicked.
