Kahlua Fudge Popsicles — The “just right” adult frozen treat
It’s that time of year! Not just warm weather, but the season of delicious popsicle recipes “popping” up everywhere! I had to pick up my own set of popsicle molds to make my favorite ice-cold sweet– fudge pops! or for those over 21… Kahlua Fudge Popsicles!
No one wants to bake in hot weather, or for that matter, be indoors when the sun is shining. Like most popsicle recipes, this one requires no cooking, and gets you back into the clear skies and green grass in no time. Plus, it can be made into a 21 and older treat with a dash (or two…or three..) of Kahlua!
- 3 oz Jello chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- ⅛ cup Kahlua (if desired)
- Equipment:
- Mixing bowl
- Mixing spoon/spatula
- Popsicle molds
- INSTRUCTIONS:
- Mix pudding mix, milk, and Kahlua until smooth.
- Pour mix into popsicle molds.
- Freeze for 5 hours.
- Enjoy while lounging under the sun

I’m not crazy about Kahlua — in fact, I don’t like alcohol much in desserts — but I’m going to make these without and I’m sure I’ll swoon. And those bunny molds are so adorable; my late mom’s nickname for me was Funny Bunny (only she could call me that), and it just put me in such a nostalgic mood!

I love icy cold drinks, slush type drinks and popsicles any time of year. I definitely would go for Kahlua in these pops. I guess coffee or another mix-in would be good too. Like caramel or hazelnut.

I’ve only made popsicles a couple of times, but it was really fun when I did!

You know how to make me crave things. I LOVE pudding pops but I haven’t made in forever. Then you go and add Kahlua, and I am driving to the store now! I love Kahlua and the idea of a pudding pop with Kahlua is very exciting.

I love making popsicles year round, and I have the Tovolo Purple Star Ice Pop Mold and others, too. I never tried making “grown up” pops – I’d love to try this – sounds good!

Can’t wait to try these!

Sounds good and looks easy. I like that it just uses a few ingredients and would be so easy to change up. Use Amaretto instead of the Kahlua or coconut vodka. I think there are a lot of flavors and adult beverages that you could add. Thanks.

Such an easy recipe and a great way to make an “adult” popsicle. Like the idea and you could even try it with other drinks. It’s creamsicle day, but I think this counts.

Oh my! Wonderful recipe! I made my grandchildren freeze pops today with Kool aid – they loved them. I can assure you that these Kahlua fudge popsicles are now in the freezer and will be a hit with my husband and I.
