I need a new fridge but who wants to go to the store for questions?
Let’s face it, my old refrigerator is…OLD. 25 years old to be exact. This faithful Whirlpool just keeps chugging along but the drawers are duct taped, the ice dispenser has a crack and the door goes CLUNK every single time it’s opened. Not exactly the right fridge for a gourmet kitchen, right? No, doubt about it, I need a new fridge.
I have my eye on a fridge from Samsung, it’s the RH29h9000 Side by Side Food Showcase. As I am a Shop Your Way member at Sears, I wanted to find out if Sears carried this model yet, as it’s brand new.

Sear’s has this neat new phone app called the . Basically, it let’s you talk to an assistant right in the store where you normally shop and ask them questions about the products that you are interested in buying – tap into Members Assist on shopyourway.com or your Shop Your Way mobile app.
As I want a new fridge (possibly for Mother’s Day), I went to the Shop Your Way app on my phone and found Member assist right away:

Found the department in the store that I needed, which was Appliances:
Then I was able to choose my store associate based on their picture and experience. I first choose Ronald but he was busy. So then I choose Linda. It’s cool because you can choose a text message or a phone call. Talk about a concierge service!
5. Then you can have a conversation with an associate who is right in the store that you shop in. You can ask any product- or service-related questions – from the best Mother’s or Father’s Day gifts to details on the washing machine you just purchased. You can even share photos – and that associate will directly respond with answers to your service or product questions.
This service is available in more than 400 Sears stores nationwide.
