How to freeze Raspberries and Blackberries

Recipe type: How To
Ingredients
  • amount of blackberries or raspberries that you want to freeze
Instructions
  1. Wash berries thoroughly under cool water in a colander and let dry on a paper towel.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper
  3. Place berries on cookie sheet, one layer deep only
  4. Freeze for one hour
  5. Remove from freezer immediately after berries are frozen and store berries in freezer bags or freezer containers
  6. Place back in freezer until ready to use

    We always freeze berries! Living in ski country we really only get home grown goodies for like 1-3 weeks during the summer so we buy them up at the farmer’s market and freeze them!
