How do I cover Bald Spots? Roots? Wouldn’t you love to cover them?
Madison Reed Root Touch-up
Have you ever wondered “How do I cover Bald Spots”? “How do to cover Roots?” Recently, after the passing of my mom, I lost a lot of hair due to stress. Also, my hair is graying (under all that blonde).
An excellent way to cover blad spots, roots and gray is Madison Reed’s Root Touch-up. See my review here with before and after photos, and my product highlights here. This quick and easy powder formula is applied with a brush and is applied in 5 minutes without being sticky. Root Touch-up stays on until you shampoo it out. Won’t rub off on your clothing or pillows.
I am crazy about this product and can’t believe how natural the coverage is.
The Madison Reed Root touchup retails for $29.95 and is available at Madison Reed and at Sephora stores and Sephora online!
Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage
I have previously reviewed Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage here. I was so thrilled with the final result. It covered the gray, lightened up my roots! Now isn’t that exactly what it was supposed to do? This product will be in my makeup bag from here on out. I know I will use it for those times when I just can’t get my act together to be to the salon on time. I highly recommend this product. Just another little trick to keep the Chief Blonde looking Fab! YEAH! Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage comes in 5 shades and is available at Sephora $25.
The Chief Blonde Remarks: I must say I preferred the Madison Reed Root Touch-up over the Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage, but both were good products for the price.

It just seems so easy! I have been putting off dying my hair for probably about a month too long now.. just because of the time commitment. This would be quick!
I like that it works instantly. I’m a busy mom and I don’t have a lot of time to spend on my hair.
I like that it’s a brush-on powder. All I have in my possession at the moment is a spray-can to hide my roots. And I have so much trouble using it. I think I’d have better success with this!
I love that they have 7 shades to choose from.
I like that it appears to be instant and probably a lot cheaper than going to the salon. Seems like a great solution if you can’t make it to get a touch up.
I love that Madison Reed Root Touch Up has a variety of shades to choose from. No point in even bothering touching up your roots if the product doesn’t match your hair color.
I love that it’s sweat proof and long lasting.
I like it stays put until you shampoo & is good for about 60 uses.
I like that it can be done at home, no need to go to the salon.
The natural-looking feature appeals me the most.
I really like the idea of using the powder between shampoos! Genius!
Instant use and temporary !!!!
I love that it would help prolong the time between my dye jobs and there are 7 shades to choose from in order to get the best match!
I love that the powder stays put until you shampoo.
I like the root touch up powder..looks really simple to use..and stays until next shampoo…and…the best…covers the grey…lol
Wow! this would be handy to have in between salon visits
I like that the touch up is done with a brush. This is a lot less messy than other products.
I don’t color my hair and most of it’s white. so I don’t know of any I’d use. Thanks for sharing.
its pretty neat that its water proof and can sleep in it if you forget to shampoo it out.
I like that the water & pillow-proof powder stays put until you shampoo.
