How do I cover Bald Spots?  Roots?  Wouldn’t you love to cover them?

How do I cover Bald Spots? How to Cover Roots? Before Inprocess After Mason Reed Root Touch Up

Madison Reed Root Touch-up

Have you ever wondered “How do I cover Bald Spots”? “How do to cover Roots?” Recently, after the passing of my mom, I lost a lot of hair due to stress. Also, my hair is graying (under all that blonde).

An excellent way to cover blad spots, roots and gray is Madison Reed’s Root Touch-up. See my review here with before and after photos, and my product highlights here. This quick and easy powder formula is applied with a brush and is applied in 5 minutes without being sticky. Root Touch-up stays on until you shampoo it out. Won’t rub off on your clothing or pillows.

I am crazy about this product and can’t believe how natural the coverage is.

The Madison Reed Root touchup retails for $29.95 and is available at Madison Reed and at Sephora stores and Sephora online!

Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage

I have previously reviewed Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage here. I was so thrilled with the final result.  It covered the gray, lightened up my roots!  Now isn’t that exactly what it was supposed to do?  This product will be in my makeup bag from here on out.  I know I will use it for those times when I just can’t get my act together to be to the salon on time.  I highly recommend this product.  Just another little trick to keep the Chief Blonde looking Fab! YEAH!  Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage comes in 5 shades and is available at Sephora $25.
still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: I must say I preferred the Madison Reed Root Touch-up over the Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage, but both were good products for the price.

I love that it is water and pillow proof. And that they have seven different shades to blend in roots. For the time between dye jobs.

I’d get the black root touchup powder. As I think about the next steps with my hair, one of them is growing out my light (natural color roots), and having weird growth is a given. It’s nice to have some kind of option for covering that up for a bit.

Root Touch-Up is vegan. That’s an important aspect about products that I look for nowadays. I’d rather limit the amount of chemicals on my body whenever I can.

I like that I won’t have to worry about it rubbing off on my clothes or dripping down my face if it rains. Would sure come in handy between dye jobs.
