How do I cover Bald Spots?  Roots?  Wouldn’t you love to cover them?

How do I cover Bald Spots? How to Cover Roots? Before Inprocess After Mason Reed Root Touch Up

Madison Reed Root Touch-up

Have you ever wondered “How do I cover Bald Spots”? “How do to cover Roots?” Recently, after the passing of my mom, I lost a lot of hair due to stress. Also, my hair is graying (under all that blonde).

An excellent way to cover blad spots, roots and gray is Madison Reed’s Root Touch-up. See my review here with before and after photos, and my product highlights here. This quick and easy powder formula is applied with a brush and is applied in 5 minutes without being sticky. Root Touch-up stays on until you shampoo it out. Won’t rub off on your clothing or pillows.

I am crazy about this product and can’t believe how natural the coverage is.

The Madison Reed Root touchup retails for $29.95 and is available at Madison Reed and at Sephora stores and Sephora online!

Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage

I have previously reviewed Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage here. I was so thrilled with the final result.  It covered the gray, lightened up my roots!  Now isn’t that exactly what it was supposed to do?  This product will be in my makeup bag from here on out.  I know I will use it for those times when I just can’t get my act together to be to the salon on time.  I highly recommend this product.  Just another little trick to keep the Chief Blonde looking Fab! YEAH!  Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage comes in 5 shades and is available at Sephora $25.
still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: I must say I preferred the Madison Reed Root Touch-up over the Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage, but both were good products for the price.

Honestly this doesn’t appeal to me at all because I have no bald spots. For someone else, I would say that it looks pretty easy to apply on.

I like that you apply it using a brush, this is such an easier way to apply product, lot less mess.

I get the gray hairs quickly around my ears. I can not always get out right away to get new dye. I love this as a quick long lasting fix.

When I get my hair colored in the salon, it always ends up on my pillow that same night. I love that this is pillow proof.

This would be a great last minute fix for those times when I realize my roots are showing and have no time to fix them!

I love that it is Water & pillow-proof powder that stays put until you shampoo. Each compact is good for about 60 uses! Thanks for the chance!

I like the “pillow proof” aspect! I suck at taking off my make up at the end of the day and I have many eyeliner stains (and some hair dye stains) on my sheets already!
