How do I cover Bald Spots? Roots? Wouldn’t you love to cover them?
Madison Reed Root Touch-up
Have you ever wondered “How do I cover Bald Spots”? “How do to cover Roots?” Recently, after the passing of my mom, I lost a lot of hair due to stress. Also, my hair is graying (under all that blonde).
An excellent way to cover blad spots, roots and gray is Madison Reed’s Root Touch-up. See my review here with before and after photos, and my product highlights here. This quick and easy powder formula is applied with a brush and is applied in 5 minutes without being sticky. Root Touch-up stays on until you shampoo it out. Won’t rub off on your clothing or pillows.
I am crazy about this product and can’t believe how natural the coverage is.
The Madison Reed Root touchup retails for $29.95 and is available at Madison Reed and at Sephora stores and Sephora online!
Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage
I have previously reviewed Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage here. I was so thrilled with the final result. It covered the gray, lightened up my roots! Now isn’t that exactly what it was supposed to do? This product will be in my makeup bag from here on out. I know I will use it for those times when I just can’t get my act together to be to the salon on time. I highly recommend this product. Just another little trick to keep the Chief Blonde looking Fab! YEAH! Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage comes in 5 shades and is available at Sephora $25.
The Chief Blonde Remarks: I must say I preferred the Madison Reed Root Touch-up over the Rita Hazen Root Concealer for Gray Coverage, but both were good products for the price.

I love that it’s rain, sweat, and pillow-proof!
i love that each compact is good for 60 uses
They have a color that I think will work for my blonde hair. Though the PINOLI – Blonde is not available now
I love that it comes in multiple shades and that it is easy to apply and long lasting.
Love how easy it is to use. Just brushing on seems quick.
I like how it stays put until the next shampoo.
It’s cool that the micro-milled pigments give hair natural-looking depth and dense root coverage. Goes on in seconds.
What appeals to me is that rain, sweat won’t change it.
I work out daily so I like that the root touch up is sweat proof.
What appeals to me are the color choices. I’m glad to see the choices in color it seems everyone could get covered. I find that to be a good thing because sometimes I get so busy I don’t have time to get my hair colored before going out of town and then it drives me nuts the whole time I’m gone my roots are very noticeable.
I love that it covers instantly and there is 7 shades to choose from
Micro milled pigments giving hair natural depth if a feature that I like about this product.
Can go a little longer in between touch ups with this. This is a super handy way to touch up roots between actual visits to the hair dresser.
Well since I don’t color my hair, and so far do not have any bald spots, this isn’t something I would use myself.
It does look like it would be easy to use, and you could do it pretty quick if you were in a hurry. That is a good thing.
Rain, sweat, and pillow proof!
I love that you can choose from 7 shades and it is super easy to use.
I like that the compact lasts for up to 60 uses!
I love that you can choose from 7 beautiful shades,,this sounds fabulous!
I love that it is Rain, Sweat & Pillow Proof. Sweat especially because I workout pretty hard everyday. I really would love to try this – I have recently lost a lot of weight in the past two years, and my hair is pretty thin due to it. I’m sure this would help me tremendously! Thank you for the chance! 🙂
I love the Auburn with hints of copper and gold. Absolutely gorgeous!
