Toshiba Cell TV
Yesterday, we attended the Toshiba Press conference where they announced their new Cell TV, a TV which is billed as the “Ultimate” TV in their line of premiere product offerings. The Cell TV has the ability to make any TV show or personal video 3D! It also has internet capabilities, video phone and the CELL TV has a built-in 1TB hard drive and 802.11n built-in wireless, enabling it to serve media files like video, music, and pictures to other devices on a home network, as well as display and play them back itself. Can you say expensive? It’s due to retail at around $11,000.
Chief Blondes Remarks: Ladies over 45–keep your husband from seeing this one. The press conference was PACKED. It was a lot of splash for a TV that few can afford, yet it’s probably a glimpse at the future of your living room–so take note! Also, Toshiba, for a company that purports to be “Leading Innovation”, your website is terrible!
Audiovox FloTV
You know Audiovox. It’s the brand that you buy your kids when you don’t want to spend a fortune but you want to get them the latest gadget. At the Audiovox press conference, they talked extensively about their FLOtv, live mobile TV, which will now be available for Iphone. The FLO TV service allows users to tune into mobile broadcasts while on the go. The service boasts many of the largest networks including ABC, Fox, MTV, ESPN, NBC, TLC, CBS, CNBC, CNN, and many others.
Chief Blonde’s remarks: I guess this little ditty proves that we will soon be able to have most anything anywhere. I just want to know what happened to taking a drive and “looking out the window” as my mom always used to say whenever we complained of car boredom….No pricing on this app yet, but if it’s from Audiovox we women over 45 can be assured good value!
Sharper Image–Really Fun new Audio Systems and Ipod Players!
At CES Unveiled, press preview event, we were able to talk to Dan Curzon, from the newly emerged Sharper Image! What an enthusiastic guy who had a product at the ready to show for every need. We really the EC-A160 Dock for Iphone/Ipod Hi-Fi Audio System with Sub-woofer .
Reported to price at $199, this unit has incredible sound (sounded beautiful in a room packed with buzzing journalists), we thought this would be a great replacement for those ancient Audio systems that each of have lurking in a bedroom or basement.

Chief Blonde’s Remarks: Having shopped at Sharper Image for years, it was nice to see these familiar products back as a brand! Now we at Still Blonde after all these YEARS don’t want to get you to excited, but Dan seemed to think he could get us a review unit AND perhaps work with us on a giveaway!
