HomeZada Online Home Inventory

May 21, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 269 Comments

WHAT? You don’t have a Home Inventory?

This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by HomeZada. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic

Online Home Inventory HomeZada

Do you have an Home Inventory? Is it Online and Safe?

When disaster strikes, will you have a home inventory in a safe place that you can readily access? If the worst happens to your home, can you really create an inventory of your home in your head? Let’s try a little test…list everything that is in your bedroom. Now go in there and see if there is anything you missed!  Quite a few things, right?

An Online Home Inventory is your safest bet for disaster

If all your data is stored in an offsite location and your home is destroyed, you will be able to readily access this information. HomeZada, an online home management solution allows you to take inventory of each room your home FOR FREE and store it all on the HomeZada site. It’s part of the FREE Essentials HomeZada subscription. The home inventory portion includes:

  • Reciepts
  • Warranties and Manuals
  • Room by Room photos
  • Home Inventory

Here’s how an Online Home Inventory on HomeZada works:

Online Home Inventory HomeZada

still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: I decided to inventory a room to show you how it works. This is a quick inventory of my half-bath.  You can see how useful this information would be in the case of a disaster:

I think HomeZada is a homeowners must have software. Every home owner needs help with maintenance checklists and project guides and with software that will keep that information and more in one place is a time saver. Software that organizes and manages the house will not only save you money but improve your home too. You will stay more organized with your home maintenance, inventory, finance and Improvements.

The home inventory would be most useful for me. I am always paranoid about being robbed, and yet I don’t even have a home inventory

I like the ability to store records and photos of possession online….because if we store them anywhere in the home via the computer or flash drive and the house is destroyed…not good.

I like the home alerts to work as a calendar of when I need to do certain maintenance tasks around the house. Would be very useful!

I like the iPhone App; and, the convenience of HomeZada. Tagging a photo to associate with a particular room is amazing! (Plus seeing HomeZada’s comprehensive solution(s); and, realizing I haven’t made records of our home yet motivates me to begin the project.) Furthermore, having this information easily accessible and available in a worst case scenario is comforting to the mind.

The Home Inventory is obviously important. I would also use Home Improvements to manage a total re-do of my apartment.

Thanks for a chance at the giveaway!

This seems so awesome! I love that you can track your own inventory. This is so important because a few years ago I actually had a tree crush my home. It was so very hard writing an inventory list for my insurance group, this would be perfect when horrible things happen. It would be so much more reassuring!
