HomeZada, Home Management Solution

May 9, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 480 Comments

HomeZada — Online and Mobile Software to Organize and Manage Your Home

HomeZada

HomeZada — A solution to better manage your home!

HomeZada allowed me a premium subscription so that I could try their service and let you know about this  online solution that helps homeowners manage everything about their home in one place. You will find solutions for managing home inventory, home maintenance and home improvements projects and all the finances associated with all these items.

HomeZada features

homezada-dashboard

HomeZada Dashboard —manage your whole home from here.

HomeZada has many features and offers two pricing options.  The Home Essentials portion is FREE!  We love free  and the Essential version includes:

  • Home Inventory (Photos, Receipts, Warranties, Manuals)
  • Property Documents (Insurance / Mortgage Docs, Plans etc.)
  • News & Recommendations (Maintenance, Inventory, and Household Tips
  • Contacts (Directory of Property & Emergency Contacts)
  • Mobile Apps (iPhone, iPad, and Android Apps.)

You can upgrade to the premium version for $5.95/month and gain these additional functions:

  • Home Maintenance — understanding the items in your home and being able to track how to take care of those items and how to alert yourself with the built in calendar and alerts in HomeZada.
  • Home Projects — Managing décor, home remodeling and maintenance projects become difficult, late and over budget if not properly managed.  HomeZada helps manage one or multiple projects and multiple details of the project process.
  • Home Finances — Managing all the financial impact of your possessions, your home maintenance, and home projects can be difficult without the ability to document it all.  Further our homes have values, annual maintenance costs, average spend per month, insurance, value,  buying and selling and more.  Track your home finances in HomeZada.

still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: I found this software to be a breeze to use, and so complete and full I felt like I was opening a never-ending Christmas package. There was just one layer after another of great content and useful tools. You can watch my video walkthrough here: http://screencast.com/t/Gi9BAeP1

I love the fact that I could manage a lot of things in the household in a single place. We have a number of small projects as well as need to inventory, so I’m in love with the concept.

After just cleaning out my junk drawer full of manuals, warranties, etc, I really like that you can keep track of those online.

I like the home inventory side of this deal. I am able to add information and photo’s to my personal list, and I like that there is a free version.

I love that there is a calendar to remind you what needs to get done. I also like how it can track your home maintenance spending.

After losing my home in Katrina I know that a home inventory is immensely important. I’m a single homeowner helping to raise three grandkids, plus running a pet rescue,so the maintenance reminder is helpful too.

Automated home maintenance schedule alerts you to key tasks to keep us on track before there is an issue.

Do I have to pick just one? Honestly, they would all be so useful to us but I guess right now the most useful would be the home project feature. We are in the process of picking out new windows for our kitchen so I think this would be the most useful right now.

I like the Automated Home Maintenance Schedules. I am SO bad at remembering things and the best way for me is to have reminders like this to act in place of my memory.

I think the Home Inventory is the best feature. It would be wonderful to have all the owner’s manuals online. Thanks
