What to do when you can’t tip for the holidays

As we go through the year, so many people in our lives, do so many things for us. We want to do something nice for them, especially for service personnel, like cashiers at our favorite store, newspaper delivery personnel, sanitation workers, our coworkers…the list can go on and on.

Yet we can’t afford to or it isn’t appropriate to tip them all. What’s a grateful person to do?

I would love to have the Chocobloc Orange Bar because it brings back memories of when I used to receive a milk chocolate orange that would split into slices. It was a special treat to me and this sounds like it’d be similar and delicious.

Because I probably wouldn’t know about allergies and/or specific tastes, I’d chose the Chocoblock bar in milk chocolate. It really helps to think about those persons, like mail carriers, who are not allowed to accept gifts over a very nominal value. Going with good old milk chocolate is a solid “thanks for all you do” salute.
