Gifts For Early Adopter Dads!

Gifts for First Adopters 3DRobotics Solo Drone Best Buy blog

Is your Dad tech savvy? Has he always been an early adopter? My dad has. He bought high tech gifts for us when we were little…I think most of them might have been for him too!

We had one of the first handheld calculators, it cost $99 and today you could pick up one from the dollar store that had similar functions. He bought one of the first home computer (a Radio Shack Tandy). We had one of the original home video games (Pong). As kids, my brother and I had one of the first black and white portable TVs, we rolled it between our rooms on a portable TV stand.

So you know, with my dad just turning 80 this year, I am eyeing all kinds of tech savvy equipment for him. So look at what just arrived for Father’s Day and all your summer fun at Best Buy…

My husband is somewhat tech savvy. Right now he is on TV’s, but this would be great too. I had no idea the ones on the market were so advanced. What fun people could have!

I wouldn’t purchase a drone for myself or anyone I know, but it would probably be of use to a photographer or videographer.

Wow, I feel old even though I am in my early 30s when I see stuff like this. I still remember how cool it was to have a portable tv with one of those long antennas or Zach from SBTB having that massive cell phone. This gadget looks like something my hubby would love!

My Dad wouldn’t have a clue what to do with a drone but my brother really wants one.

Talk about serious fun – can you see the scenery shots that would come from the farm? Maybe the hubby could get it to soar with the eagles.

My Dad does love his tech gadgets. But, I love them even more so if I bought this for him it probably wouldn’t make it out of my living room! I want a GoPro and this would make that even better!

I’m not sure my father would enjoy it. He’s not all that into tech. I know my husband would though!
