What are Adult Doodling Books?
Adult doodling books are entertaining prompts to get your adult mind doodling. They are usually fully illustrated, interactive art journals. Adult doodling books are designed to appeal to seasoned artists and doodle enthusiasts alike.
Unlike painting, you don’t need to have the skills or training of an artist to create thoughtful mind expanding doodles.
The Chief Blonde Remarks:
-Think of all the possibilities! Stars, snowflakes, trees, gifts and more! Doodle your way to holiday spirit with Sara Walsh (Just Add Color). What excited me about this book is that it gives you a few triangles on the page. You were then encouraged to “draw what you see”, on some pages they even gave 4 suggestions. The concept made it exciting to see if you could come up with something fresh.
– This motivational practice book provides a new take on the world of sketching, doodling, and designing. Take a step-back and think about all the different ways to draw something. Open your mind to the possibilities and differences in everyday objects. Get out your favorite drawing tool, and remember, there are not just 20 Ways to Draw a Star! Many adult coloring books do not lay flat, which for me is essential to coloring (so I am not constantly fighting with the book to stay open.) This book does lay flat. The book reminds you very much of a skecth book with thick paper and a nice bumpy feel. The book presents all kinds of crazy approaches to stars and more.

I like the 20 ways to draw a star because I really want to know what other ways are there to draw a star.
I’m most intrigued by the map version – but they all look good! I think my tween daughters would love these, too.
I love adult coloring books, and though I have attempted to draw my own, how to books would be awesome!
I like Holiday Sweet: 40 Illustrated Holiday Recipes by Artists from Around the World because it’s that time of year and it contains recipes so it’s useful
I like Make Map Art. I have always wanted to draw maps.
I have seen adult coloring books but not doodling books. I would love to try this activity as a way to destress and relax.
I like the looks of the Change Your Life One Doodle at a Time–it seems to have a lot of variety in the forms that are being presented as doodle possibilities, although I am not certain about the ‘change your life’ idea!
I would love the They Draw and Cook: 107 Recipes Illustrated by Artists from Around the World! I love cooking and I think this book looks really fun!
Change your life one doodle at a time because it seems very uplifting!
The holiday sweet book just sounds yummy, plus I love making sweets
Changing lives one doodle at a time. The others were mostly recipes and that doesn’t interest me as much as just doodling, thinking…
O like Holiday Sweet. What’s better than sweets and coloring.
I like change your life one doodle at a time one.

I like the Make Map Art book because it looks like a fun way to learn some geography.
The book I favor is “Make Map Art” because it is close to something I am working on in my own art these days.
I just added Make Map Art to my wishlist. I have had a lifelong love of maps, so this one is right up my alley!
“Holiday Sweet” since I have an unending sweet tooth.
