What are Adult Doodling Books?
Adult doodling books are entertaining prompts to get your adult mind doodling. They are usually fully illustrated, interactive art journals. Adult doodling books are designed to appeal to seasoned artists and doodle enthusiasts alike.
Unlike painting, you don’t need to have the skills or training of an artist to create thoughtful mind expanding doodles.
The Chief Blonde Remarks:
-Think of all the possibilities! Stars, snowflakes, trees, gifts and more! Doodle your way to holiday spirit with Sara Walsh (Just Add Color). What excited me about this book is that it gives you a few triangles on the page. You were then encouraged to “draw what you see”, on some pages they even gave 4 suggestions. The concept made it exciting to see if you could come up with something fresh.
– This motivational practice book provides a new take on the world of sketching, doodling, and designing. Take a step-back and think about all the different ways to draw something. Open your mind to the possibilities and differences in everyday objects. Get out your favorite drawing tool, and remember, there are not just 20 Ways to Draw a Star! Many adult coloring books do not lay flat, which for me is essential to coloring (so I am not constantly fighting with the book to stay open.) This book does lay flat. The book reminds you very much of a skecth book with thick paper and a nice bumpy feel. The book presents all kinds of crazy approaches to stars and more.

they draw & cook appeals to me for my teenage son. He just lost his Aunt (my sister) and has taken it very hard. He had a grief counselor to tell him to color and he did and loves how it calms him down.
Change Your Life One Doodle at a Time appeals to me because I heard doodling promotes creativity.
The Vegetarian Cookbook one looks interesting. I am interested in coloring and cooking more vegetarian meals.
Hi! Her book Make Map Art: Creatively Illustrate Your appeals to me because I love looking at maps. I know it seems weird but when I was a kid my family would take a trip to New Jersey from Arkansas every year and while everyone else was asleep in the back seats, I would get to ride shotgun and read the map to dad. It brings back great memories!
Change your like on doodle at a time because it would help change my perspective which is negative. Thanks for sharing.
I like Change Your Life One Doodle at a Time because you are the doodler and this book helps you be a bit more creative about what and how you doodle
I like the Make Map Art book because I think maps are beautiful when used as art and the 20 Ways to Draw a Star because it looks interesting.
Change your life one doodle at a time…I love to color and draw..it calms me down when I get stressed
Love these books !!
I love to travel, so that Make Map Art book looks neat.
The book that appeals to me the most is the 20 Ways to Draw a Star. It’s rather intriguing and I’d like to try my hand at that. I’m actually an absolutely terrible artist so I’d like to see just how hard these would be for me. Now my daughter is a terrific artist so she could always help me out a bit if I need it (though where her talent came from I’ve no idea!)
Have a happy day everybody!
