Adult Drawing Books Adult Doodling Books

I received these Adult Doodling Books from Quarto Publishing: 100 Things to Draw with a Triangle  ($19.99 , $), 20 Ways to Draw a Star ($19.99, )

What are Adult Doodling Books?

Adult doodling books are entertaining prompts to get your adult mind doodling. They are usually fully illustrated, interactive art journals.  Adult doodling books are designed to appeal to seasoned artists and doodle enthusiasts alike.

Unlike painting, you don’t need to have the skills or training of an artist to create thoughtful mind expanding doodles.

100 THings to draw with a triangle Sarah Walsh Adult doodling book   -Think of all the possibilities! Stars, snowflakes, trees, gifts and more! Doodle your way to holiday spirit with Sara Walsh (Just Add Color). What excited me about this book is that it gives you a few triangles on the page. You were then encouraged to “draw what you see”, on some pages they even gave 4 suggestions. The concept made it exciting to see if you could come up with something fresh.

20 ways to draw a star Studio SS Adult Doodling books   – This motivational practice book provides a new take on the world of sketching, doodling, and designing. Take a step-back and think about all the different ways to draw something. Open your mind to the possibilities and differences in everyday objects. Get out your favorite drawing tool, and remember, there are not just 20 Ways to Draw a Star!  Many adult coloring books do not lay flat, which for me is essential to coloring (so I am not constantly fighting with the book to stay open.) This book does lay flat. The book reminds you very much of a skecth book with thick paper and a nice bumpy feel. The book presents all kinds of crazy approaches to stars and more.

Update: This post originally contained a $40 Two Book Giveaway. The Rafflecopter entry device has been removed and had 3552 entries.  See Giveaway Winners.

I usually only draw triangles and bubbles when I doodle.
