I make my own bread/bagels now whenever I can. Sometimes I even use a yeast culture (sourdough starter). Why do I do it? It’s fun and way more Delicious than anything bought in the store. I can modify my recipes however I want (within reason) like when I made sourdough pumpkin bagels (To DIE for – Sweet & Sour)

I would like to make my own bread to control the ingredients in it. So many packaged varieties have a bunch of stuff in them that I don’t want to consume.

Yes, I have made my own bread, it is fantastic. I love the fresh taste and the wonderful smell in my kitchen. I would love to learn more and how to do it better like the bakeries.

I do bake bread. There is nothing quite like the smell and taste of homemade bread to bring everyone together at the table.
