The Chief Blonde Remarks:

Well, I think the answer to your question depends on what type of emergency we’re talking about. If it is going to be a while than I say the water is most important. A person can not go very long without it. But if the emergency is an injury, the first aid kit is what you would need the most.
Water is the most important thing in the kit. You can live 3 minutes without air, 3 days without water and 3 weeks without food.
the purified water is a life saver and would be the most important item in the bag. thankyou, ken
First of all the water in the emergency kit and secondly the flashlight are the most important. This kit is a great idea.
For me it would be clean water to drink, blanket & gloves for warmth and a flashlight to see when the electricity goes out.
Thanks for the contest.
I think the purified waters are most important because you always need clean water, especially in an emergency situation.
Okay, you said be original, I would go with the flashlight, but only if it had batteries included or if it was a hand powered wind up flashlight. Eventually , the batteries will die, so a solar powered or wind up flashlight would be best, because it helps to be able to see in the dark for obvious reasons, the light up glow sticks are helpful, but are limited to a one time use for a set amount of time.
I think the water is most important .
I like the personal disaster kit. Water is essential here in the high desert. The flashlight to navigate in the dark. Glow in the dark tag to find the pack as it can be quite dark out here where people live far away. This giveaway is a great idea! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
I think the purified water would be the most important because in an emergency it can be difficult to find a reliable water source.
Flashlight – b.c you can’t do or see anything in the dark!
I say the water is most important. Gotta have water! 🙂
Def. the flashlight so I can read at night if the power goes out during hurricane season
Thanks for the giveaway…the flashlight & light stick because you need light to find your way to a safe place / shelter.
the first aid kit as it is always important o have on hand
Everything is important but sanitary water is necessary and in a disaster sometimes it takes 3 days for the red cross to get to a person.
I would have to say the purified water because without good clean water you won’t survive
The grab and go bag is what I like the most.
Most bags are to big to haul back and forth.
I would have to go with the flash light, not only for the obvious that you will be able to see, but also because it would be a great way to flag down help or to use to me spotted by rescuers.
I think the emergency blanket would be an important thing to have just because you can’t think if you’re freezing.
