Lobsterfest –something I wait for ALL YEAR!
Lobsterfest features oldies you love and some new-to-the-menu items for 2014! Left to right, top to bottom:Bar Harbor Lobster Bake, Dueling Lobster Tails (New Item), Lobster in Paradise (New Item), Lobsterfest menu, Lobster Lover’s Dream, Rock Island Stuffed Tilapia, Lobster & Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, Ultimate Feast, and Ultimate Surf and Turf (New Item)
Lobsterfest — So much to choose from!
While I love Lobsterfest at Red Lobster, there is one thing I hate…I can’t order everything! I stare and stare at the 9 selections on the menu. With so many mouth-watering choices, I struggle with which items to choose! Nothing compares to the succulent, delectable flavor of a juicy lobster tail. Finally, I settle on the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake, one of my absolute FAVS! This dish is a roasted split Maine lobster tail, tender shrimp, sea scallops, mussels and linguini in a garlic and white wine broth. Mmmmmm!
Most Lobsterfest menu items are accompanied by a salad and the Famous Red Lobster bisquits. Yes, there were 4 biscuits brought to the table. No, I didn’t get the picture before two disappeared. Was it magic?
The portions are huge for the Bay Harbor Lobster Bake. Walt and I always split it. An exclusive opportunity to enjoy the delicious, high-quality lobster at $24.95? Yes, please!
Lobster done right! The Red Lobster facts
You know that Red Lobster has to know what they are doing when it comes to Lobster.
- They opened their doors in 1968 and, today, they are one of the largest purchasers of seafood, which includes North American lobster, in the United States
- Red Lobster was the first casual dining seafood restaurant company to open locations across the nation, and today they serve approximately 10 million pounds of lobster each year at more than 600 restaurants across North America.
- Red Lobster was the first restaurant to deliver fresh lobster nationwide, and their innovative process allows them to bring fresh, high-quality lobster straight from the coast of New England to guests all around the country.
Lobsterfest runs through April.

Oh the biscuits!!! Maybe that is why I have so much trouble eating lobster; I’m focused on the biscuits. Haha. (More likely I’m just uncoordinated.) Wow they sell a lot of lobster!!! I love sea food but go for the scallops…it is scallops day, too. Thanks for sharing and wonderful job on the photos. They really show off the food.
It wasn’t until I moved to Boston, that I grew to have a serious love for all things lobster and seafood related. And you’re right, getting to that lobster meat is no easy task, but man is it worth it! I think I need to find a Red Lobster in the Milwaukee area! This post is making me hungry for good seafood. – Katy
LOVE seafood but it is def. hard to eat sometimes!
So much lobster, so little time! 😛
I am not a seafood fan but my dad is, he LOVES Red Lobster. We got to go a few months ago for an event, too.
Okay,I was one of Red Lobster’s top Shrimp fans last year. I have posted photos of Shrimp ‘staches, and go to Endless Shrimp at least 4-5 times when it rolls around…..But, as a gal with two purple lobster stuffed toys on her dashboard…..I just, cant do this! I’m so glad Red Lobster has tasty entrees that feature hearty portion of lobster in the tail (and even on pizza) so I don’t have to if I don’t want to 🙂
