Dressing for Snow, Karina Patti Dress

February 4, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 112 Comments

Finding it hard to “Dress” for Snow?

Blog Note: Whoot! I was provided a gorgeous Patti Karina dress for this Dressing for Snow Review!

Dressing for Snow

Location: Former Clarkston United Methodist Church (currently a private home), Clarkston, MI. The Chief Blonde is wearing Karina Patti Dress  ($99), Down Toggle Coat (Sam’s Club, similar), La Coste Cardigan (similar) , necklace and belt (vintage & rummage sale finds), boots–old (similar)

The Karina Patti Dress

The Patti Dress from Karina Dresses is very much a fitted sheath with pockets. It has short sleeves and comes in Sizes XS–XL. At $99, it’s one of Karina’s most affordable dresses and possibly one of it’s classiest.  Very ’40s! I like the fact it has a front square neckline. What you don’t see is the back has a lower square neckline for a subtle sexiness. You can machine wash this dress, hang it to dry, and Karina dresses never need ironing. Isn’t that fab? Biggest bonus? They are made right in Brooklyn, NY!

Dressing for Snow

Karina dresses are made of limited edition microfiber fabric that is breathable and durable. They fit great and are very flattering…they will be there for you, 5 pounds up or down!

While the Karina Patty Dress will look great at the office with jacket, you can bet it will work for a night on the town or that special dinner. Below I wore it to church on a very snowy day. While the day was sunny, it was a mere 5 degrees outside, so you can bet we took these pictures QUICK. It’s really easy to get a couple of great shots of the Karina Patti dress, because it just  looks good from every angle, don’t you think?

Glad I don’t have to dress for snow! We’re finally getting some rain here in N. CA. We really need it.

I really like the vintage feel of this Karina dress, the full coverage square front compromises well with the square back cut. It leaves all the right things to the imagination, and looks great on you! I’m loving that green!
