Breaking news from my husband’s Big 3 auto company (that shall remain nameless)

During this audit it was discovered that several calls were made to 411 Directory Assistance at a rate of $1.25 per call costing xxx a large fee each month for this service. In order to eliminate this extra fee, we are instructing everyone to utilize Google 411 for Business Directory Assistance it is free, fast and easy to use.

Yes, I know this is old news–but I didn’t have it programmed into my cell phone, DO YOU?
Update: As of 11-2010, Google has discontinued this much loved service!

My daughter made a 411 call from her Verizon cell phone and we were charged $1.99. I’ll be sure to pass this info on to her. Thanks for sharing the info!
