I’d like to see The Words.
I want to see The Words.
Would like to see “The Words”! Looks like a great story with a great cast! As an avid reader and wanna be writer, I think I’d love this movie!
Possibly “The Words” with Jeremy Irons and Dennis Quaid and pretty much because I like them. Jeremy as Scar in “The Lion King” is one my absolute favorite villains.
I would like to check out the movie words. Thank you for featuring these movies.
I honestly don’t even know what movies are in the theaters anymore. Isn’t that sad? I wouldn’t mind seeing the new Batman one.
I love reading about movies for grownups in More magazine and AARP- thanks for adding to their lists with these releases.
Thanks. I love getting the screeners when they send them so I can also recommend! The Chief BLonde
I can’t wait for The Words! It looks good!
Oh how you make a girl blush 😉
I really think people over 40 are looking fabulous compared to so many years ago, heck women in particular that are over 60 are still HOT looking more and more! I hope I am looking this fine when I am over 40!
But you already ARE hot! Why would you ever lose it? The chief Blonde
I’m actually dying to go see the words, it looks like it has a good cast, and an actual story!
I recently went to see “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel”. That one would probably qualify in the “Actors WAY over 45” category but was fabulous.
I just featured the movies that they sent me the releases on. I will have to look for more! The Chief Blonde!
What about Hope Springs starring Meryl Streep. I can’t wait to see that one.
I focused on featuring the movies that they sent me the releases on. I will have to look for more! The Chief Blonde!
Depending on my mood I’d probably be up for watching any of these. I thought of ‘Hope Springs’ too when I first read youe title. I can remember Goldie Hawn, Sally Field and Meryl Streep being interviewed several years ago about how parts dried up once an age limit was reached. Obviously it is changing some what. I have to say that I was surprisingly embraced at Toy Fair last year as a Grandma Blogger. PRs recognize that Grandparents now have more money since not raising children and do help out their grand kids in the toy department. I found my niche and am going for it. LOL
I saw the preview for The Words at Hope Springs last night and it looked very good. My husband leaned over to me and whispered, “Don’t ever steal anyone else’s work. It doesn’t look like it ends well.”
I promised him I’d never do that.
Snort. True. Plus who could possibly write like you that you could steal their work? The Chief Blonde
I don’t understand why Hollywood doesn’t recognize the power of +45-ers and still calls most mature actors “character” actors. These so-called character actors usually steal the scene of every movie they are in!
Thanks Bonnie, That’s why I decided to start blogging about it on a regular basis. I figure if more media pays attention, more Women over 45 will be featured. The Chief Blonde
The only one here that looks interesting is The Words. I like Jeremy Irons and Dennis Quaid. Bradley Cooper is the pretty face of the moment, so we’ll have to see if he pulls this one off.
Hey Lynn, I think THE WORDS does look interesting. The Phunny Business seems relevant too. I always like these compilation/historical documentaries–although I worry what the language will be like. The Chief Blonde
Thanks for highlighting these. Still, us 45+ are nowhere near being represented on a ratio that reflects the actual population demographics. I have a definite feeling that this will never happen, but a 10 to 20% representation on leading roles would be nice. For women, I mean. Men don’t seem to have a problem in that area. Hummm.
I am just going to keep reporting on the movies featuring Women over 45 and going to see the ones I feel are relevant. I feel if we as media for Women over 45 highlight these movies and then attend…that’s a start. The Chief BLonde
Excellent point!
