The Chief Blonde Wears a Chasensully  Dress in Silk/Rayon $240

still blonde The Chief Blonde Remarks:  Dads will really love Moms in these gorgeous silk dresses and fashions from Chasensully and sister Brand Scout.  You can’t help but love the silk and silk/rayon fabrics used in all their fashions. Perfect to wear on that Father’s Day brunch!  I found the spring collections to be dressed up and casual at the same moment.  No matter if you pair these fashions with a pair of vibrant skinny jeans or a pair of strappy sandals, I felt that I could always look just right for the occasion.  For spring, Chasensully embraces the 2012 trend of bold color with emerald, fuchsia and royal blue blouses and dresses, many of which incorporate feminine, flirtatious ruffles at the neck and hemline.  You will also note tangerines, pristine whites, and Spring Bouquet Watercolor Prints (think Monet!) The sister line from Scout  shows tunic style dresses,  marine and turquoise colors, and animal/tribal/floral prints!

What I really enjoyed as I perused these lines was that I felt they were very cross-generational.  A women over 45 could wear the clothing  just as easily  a women under 45.  Sure a women under 45 might wear the tunic dress alone with a chunky sandal while a Woman over 45 might wear a skinny jean instead, but they still both look like they are in runway styles.  But the prices aren’t runway, upscale yes, premiere yes, but the pricing IMO is far far more affordable than many of the items that you’ll see in Vogue, Glamour, or Vanity Fair but every bit as stylish!

The darling Chasensully Tunic that I was sent to sample in the picture at the top  had the most delicious shimmy 60’s feel to it. I really felt like Carol Brodie, the lovely Jewelry designer for HSN, who always wears gorgeous tunics in stunning colors.  This dress/tunic lets you make a statement when you walk into a room and with all the wonderful colors in the fabric, you can easily find something in your closet  that will match up perfectly.   I don’t mean to brag or anything but doesn’t it look great with my blonde hair?  Super example from the Chasensully Spring Line.

I like the long sleeve blouse in black with the eyelet pattern on the sleeves this makes the blouse perform two things-dressy and casual. I can wear it with jeans or a nice pair of slacks.
