CES Girl: Outfits modeled by Women over 45

January 9, 2011 By Shelley Zurek 19 Comments

Still Blonde after all these YEARS ( CES Girl ) goes to Vegas for the 2011 International CES

The Chief Blonde and staff are attending the 2011 International Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. While there,  the staff visited one of Vegas’s newest casinos, The Cosmopolitan. Perfect place for an Outfit Post and a cool place to become a CES girl!

The Cosmopolitan Decor features everything  entirely draped in Diamonds–really pretty and different!  They also have super shops which have unique cross-generational clothing!

Moving on to the Bellagio, where they were decorating for Chinese New Year! So Beautiful!  When you are in Vegas, you never really need to gamble unless you want to.  Instead, you can just go to each hotel on the strip and catch their free features. For example, the Bellagio, always has a stunning exhibit going on in their Botanical garden. It is currently decorated in stunning yellows and reds for Chinese New Year.  As well,  their Fountains of Bellagio put on a complimentary show every 1/2 hour during the day and every 15 minutes at night. This is hands down my favorite free show in Vegas.  Continually enchanting!

Well, a girl has to dream right?  This gorgeous limo was waiting outside of Bellagio for me, so I jumped in for a picture.  Looks good with the Chief Blonde right?  The guys in the car did invite me to ride along, but I declined!  I was already with my own personal escort, my wonderful husband!

Okay, I may have played a few slots while in Vegas.  I did walk away with more money than I started with (thanks Mom and Dad!), it was a fantastic trip.

I love Las Vegas. I haven’t been in awhile, but the Bellagio is beautiful! We stayed at Caesar’s Palace, which is also amazing. And love the outfit.

Note to Rachel: Vegas is a great place to take kids. There’s tons of free “shows” (fountains, Oz, pirate ships) that they’ll enjoy and several of the casinos have areas specifically designed for kids. And the buffets are fantastic and inexpensive too.

Chief Blonde: You look like you had a great time and your outfits are great too!

    Both.

I simply love the modern, fresh, and at the same time – toned-down – look you sported in Las Vegas. Also, I like it so much how the shade of pink you chose for the cami brightened the neutral color of the cardigan and made a great contrast with the outstanding belt.

I’ve never been to Vegas, but I’d love to check it out sometime. Doesn’t seem very kid-friendly though? Anyway – looks like fun, and you’re rockin’ the cute outfit as always 🙂
