Blue Valentine’s Day Recipe Meal: Blue Chicken Recipe

Not feeling in the Red this Valentine’s Day?

Every year can’t be all hearts and cupids for Valentine’s day, right? Sometimes we just aren’t feeling the love. So I have created a Blue Chicken Recipe sure to tickle your fancy (and an entire Blue Valentine’s day recipe meal here).

Blue Chicken

Blue Valentines Recipe Blue Chicken Recipe

What makes this chicken recipe blue? Blue Curaçao (a liqueur). Blue Curaçao and Curaçao taste exactly alike so if you don’t want your chicken to be blue, just use Curaçao. Don’t let the addition of this liqueur put you off making this dish. It adds a delicious orangey tang and the alcohol burns off during the cooking!

After browning, the chicken breasts are baked, then simmered in champagne and blue curacao. Mushrooms and heavy cream are then combined to make a rich sauce. This is a spectacular main course that will have your guests mesmerized between the color and the taste.

I think the Braun Series 5 5090cc Electric Foil Shaver for Men with Clean & Charge Station would be perfect for my hubby for Valentine’s Day! His electric razor recently stopped working, and this would be a great replacement!

The Valentines day gift I would choose is for myself. Im single right now. The item is a pink Guess Darby Large Zip Around Wallet. Its my favorite color. And I need a pop of color this time of year. Winter depresses me bad.

I would buy the Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Brewer with Brew Strength Selector, CJX31. Our Keurig died and our replacement coffee maker is so darn cumbersome!
