Not feeling in the Red this Valentine’s Day?

Every year can’t be all hearts and cupids for Valentine’s day, right? Sometimes we just aren’t feeling the love. So I have created a Blue Chicken Recipe sure to tickle your fancy (and an entire Blue Valentine’s day recipe meal here).

Blue Chicken

Blue Valentines Recipe Blue Chicken Recipe

What makes this chicken recipe blue? Blue Curaçao (a liqueur). Blue Curaçao and Curaçao taste exactly alike so if you don’t want your chicken to be blue, just use Curaçao. Don’t let the addition of this liqueur put you off making this dish. It adds a delicious orangey tang and the alcohol burns off during the cooking!

After browning, the chicken breasts are baked, then simmered in champagne and blue curacao. Mushrooms and heavy cream are then combined to make a rich sauce. This is a spectacular main course that will have your guests mesmerized between the color and the taste.

Not to copy my neighbor, but I would get the KitchenAid Stand Mixer for my mother because she has always wanted one and she loves to bake. Not to mention my dad is getting rather domesticated since he retired. LOL

I would give my SO some pet food that we could donate to an animal shelter. He’s absolutely impossible to buy for, but absolutely loves animals.

I’d choose the Heart Photo Snow Globe for my teen daughter. It’d make a nice gift for her to keep and remember how much I love her. I’d put a picture of me and her in it. Thanks.

From those pages, I would like the rose touch screen watch; however, I just lost my Fitbit so that’s what I would really want. Unfortunately, we don’t have any money for Valentine’s gifts so I know I won’t get one.

Happy early Valentine’s Day everyone❣❣ I’ve already told my husband what I’d like from him. I kinda collect the Dove chocolate tins. He’s been giving them to me for 5-6 yrs now. I like that every year they’re different and unique-but still maintain their same heart shape. I store special notes from him, cards, ticket stubs etc. beginning with Valentines Day until the nest Valentines Day-when hopefully I’ll receive a new one!

I would buy my sweetie a bag of FELINE GREENIES 6-Pack Feline Smart Bites Treat, 2.1-Ounce because he is a cat and he gets tuna breath which makes it hard to cuddle him.
