stillblonde3 smallTHE CHIEF BLONDE REMARKS:  Bistro MD was a huge surprise for me.  I had never tried pre-packed diet food before and CERTAINLY never had 15 Gourmet meals arrive at my door in a cooler!

bistro MD 2

I found the Bistro MD meals to be very tasty overall.  My first rating  score was how Bistro MD compared to my cooking (my husband swears I am quite the cook!)  So my score is a 10. One Bistro MD meal was as good as mine (the Chicken Stuffed with Broccoli) with most being quite close.  This is what surprised me the most about the food.  It was low in calorie yet had nice sauces and more food than I could finish usually.  I know if I continued eating this line over a period of a month or more, I would see significant weight loss–plus I would enjoy it because I wasn’t sacrificing TASTE!  My second rating score was how I rated each meal based on how it compared to a high-end grocery store frozen meal with that being assigned a value of 5.  All Bistro Media meals was as good but the high majority  were significantly better than the finer frozen meals from the store.

I see Bistro MD meals working in many ways in my life.  They would be fantastic to have ordered to a vacation home, so that I didn’t have to cook, yet we wouldn’t always have to eat out.  I feel they would be great for an elderly parent or someone who was disabled from a temporary illness.  The meals are extremely tasty and varied.

I found the Bistro MD website to be super informative with a free Diet Analysis tool, testimonials that I could relate to,  pictures of all the menus, coupled with advise from  Doctor Caroline J. Cederquist who approves all the Bistro MD meals before they are released to you.

Pasta has always been my downfall and I tend to eat alot of it. I was really happy to see that they had Cheese Ravioli so that I wouldn’t feel deprived!

I really like the beef dishes, especially the Beef Tips with Red Wine Sauce since it’s one of the dishes I think ends up being heavier than it appears when you’re making or eating it. The Chicken Marsala risotto is similar in the feel.
