Satisfy your craving for this “candy meat” with dishes that spotlight bacon (like our Mushroom Swiss Burger), and others that use it as subtle, rich flavor enhancer (like the tart Cherry Tomato Pasta made with nutty zucchini and creamy Provolone sauce). You’ll learn how to cook a slice properly, how to navigate brand thickness and choice, and even how to make a Bacon Bowl! YES, I you read that right! A BACON BOWL! Here’s another recipe from the book that I am dying to make:

My husband, who is the main cook of the family, has always cooked with bacon. He finds all kinds of things to do with it, and of course, we love bacon.
This book appeals to me because it’s BACON! LOL I love bacon but I think my daughter is probably an even bigger bacon lover than me.
My husband thinks that the best food is bacon. If he could have it everyday he would. This book brings to light the bacon that he craves.
288 pages of bacon recipes, I might just have to get this for my son (lover of bacon).
I love that the author has food influences from different regions. My teen begs me to cook more bacon –he’ll be getting a copy for Christmas and we’ll make them together! How do you get a teen to help out in the kitchen? ADD BACON!
I just love that it’s about bacon…the food of the Gods
no !i love it like this !
I grew up on a farm so I KNOW my bacon. We all like bacon and having the cookbook with all those recipes- WOW- from appetizers to desserts. YUM!!!
I like how they mention about the BLT “my favorite sandwich”!!!!
Everything about this book appeals to me. I love bacon. I’ve gone to bacon feasts and eat bacon with out fear.
Yes I wear plaid, will wear plaid.. love plaid. 🙂
Well to start off with of course, every thing is better with bacon! What I think appeals to me the most is the author’s extensive background in multiple influences in her cooking. Not only the recipes passed down by family but the different cultures she has gleaned experience from. Jennifer Pearsall must be an expert on bacon as she seems to be experimenting daily with this tasty delicacy. I’m putting this book on my Christmas wish list for sure as one thing I know, we love bacon. 🙂
To quote of the the best hashtags I’ve ever seen, its always best when you #PutSomePigOnIt. BACON!!!
I’d love it because the more things I can put baconin the better. I love it! One of the weirdest ways iI’ve tried in was sprinkled on a maple doughnut. It was actually pretty tasty.
Bacon goes good with everything. My son really wants this book. He saw it and went crazy about it,lol.
I think I would rather have bacon than chocolate. I have incorporated it into many of the dishes I fix. I notice that the book includes recipes for everything from appetizers to desserts. I have done the same and would love to find more ideas to try. Therearen’t many things that can’t be made better by adding bacon.
Oh my gosh PAT! SO true “Therearen’t many things that can’t be made better by adding bacon.” SHelley
A cookbook totally about bacon…. whats not to love???
It isn’t available till November 18th so it will certainly be hot off the press!! I’m like so many others in saying bacon just adds so much to all the foods I’ve tried it with. The author talked about it being finely chopped into a crust for a dessert and it added so much. I would love to try her recipes so therefore I’d love to win this. Thanks for the opportunity.
Awesome!
I am a huge bacon lover, this will lead to many great adventures.
