Beam N Read Review, Women over 45

October 22, 2012 By Shelley Zurek 195 Comments

Beam and Read Review, Personal Light Anywhere!
Beam N Read Review, Personal light anywhere

Beam N Read LED 6 Deluxe Hands Free Light, $29.95

still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks:  This Beam N Read Review is one of my favorite reviewed products in 2012!  Why?  Confession…I have trouble reading or  sewing in low light.  Anything up close, with low light and tiny letters…Forget about it!

I Can Embroidery Again!

When I saw the Beam N Read, I thought “What a great design!”.  I have tried a zillion book lights and guess what?  Most don’t work.  They either fall off the book or fall off the computer or just aren’t bright enough.  Well…the Beam N Read sheds light on all your up close work!  I can now  go back to cross stitching (which I LOVE!) but I have given it up because I simply cannot see because I can’t get enough light on my work.  Reading and writing is enjoyable again and NO READING GLASSES!!

  • The Light is Personal, which means it’s wide enough for your work area but won’t disturb others

  • AC and Vehicle Adapters are available too!
  • Adjustable neck strap and adjustable angle of the light.

Reading. My living room just has accent lighting, which is great for movies, but not so great for reading, which I do a lot of. Also…i have terrible eyesight 😀

I would use this for reading, especially before I go to sleep at night. I love that it uses red light instead of blue light.

I would use it when I crochet, my eyes are not as good as they used to be & dark yarns are getting difficult to see. This would be great.

I could use this for so many things, but the most frequent use would be for reading before I fall asleep in bed. I’m a night owl and my husband goes to sleep much earlier. If I have a table lamp on, it keeps him awake. this would be perfect.

I would like this because I can’t see well enough to cross-stitch anymore! This would be great.

It would actually be for my husband so he’s not straining his eyes while reading at night. The table lamp we have is not bright enough.

I love to do cross stitch work, so this would be fantastic to have for night time use, when it’s harder to differentiate between similar colored thread.
