Birthday or any Occasion, Cake AND Cookies!
How exciting is birthday cake? Or cake at any time? I remember when I was little, my mom used to let us pick the kind of cake she would bake for our special day!
Oh yeah, the Chief Blonde holds her 9th b-day Sponge Cake with pink frosting. (circa 1970). Love those Bangs!
My mom always had cookies in the “Cookie Box”, a different kind each time she made new ones. We always had 3-4 cookies in our lunchbox and then could have more for a snack when we came home from school. Those were the days!

The Chief Blonde Remarks: Bake Me a Wish! now sells gourmet bakery items – cookies and brownies. They couple that with their nationwide service for delivery of gourmet birthday cakes. Imagine cakes and cookies made with only the finest, freshest ingredients delivered to yours or your loved ones door overnight. Guess what? You can even buy these lovelies in a bakery combo from Bake me a Wish! Mmmmm!

I have to admit, I loved the Cookies that Bake Me a Wish sent to me especially the Ginger Molasses! Oh my word!
Honor a Soldier while you Celebrate
Bake Me a Wish! also sells a Freedom Cake for birthdays, anniversary or any special Occasion! When you purchase the Freedom Cake for a recipient here in the US, Bake Me A Wish! will deliver a gourmet cake to a soldier serving overseas, in the name of your recipient. Each cake features a special card informing the recipient that a cake has been sent to a soldier in their name, alongside an imprint of the American Flag.
The Chief Blonde’s Husband, Walt, celebrates his birthday with a Bake Me A Wish Freedom Cake
Not only did I feel great about the fact a service person would receive the same cake that I got for Walt for his birthday, but the Freedom Cake itself ( a layer of deluxe chocolate brownie, covered in crushed OREO cookies, drizzled with white and dark chocolates and an avalanche of sprinkles adorning the top) was stunningly delicious!

A cake you can feel doubly good about eating. It’s National Freedom Day today, and that calls for cake! 🙂 I like that your mom asked you what type you wanted. What kind of cake would you choose today? Would you have the top decorated with shoes? 🙂
Hi Sherry,
I would choose the cake she always made me with her serving. I miss her very much. Shelley
Love the Bake me a Wish idea! How can you go wrong with cookies and cake. Have to say the Freedom Cakes sounds decadant and amazing!! Hope Walt enjoyed it…and shared. This is perfect for today; it’s National Coast Guard Day and Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. Add in cake and it’s going to be a good day. Happy Thursday!
You can’t go wrong with a cookie…it brightens the day. How cute your pics are! It’s great that you had a cookie. I noticed your brother didn’t. Guess he wasn’t as good as you. Haha. I’m sure the has just already had his. 🙂 These look like a nice size and some great flavors. Have a cookie today…it’s National Sugar Cookie Day!
I would like to try the New York Cheesecake because it is my son’s
favorite.
That Chocolate Mousse Torte Cake looks deadly. But I’d be willing to take that chance!
Definitely the Cookies and Cream Brownie Cake because I am a chocoholic and am addicted to Oreos. Need I say more?!
My favorite is the Tiramisu Classico Cake because Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts (always order it when it’s on the menu at a restaurant).
I would love to try the Chocolate Truffle Lava Cakes. One, because I LOVE chocolate, and Two, because they are gluten free
I think the Vanilla Bean cake would be my favorite because I am Vanilla crazy, its my favorite scent, its my favorite pudding and I just love vanilla!
